I'm never around that much anymore when the Brits are one. It seems more fun when they're around. Dan won't be on tonight because he's working, and cb probably won't be on because he's sick.

I'm hungry.

cbmartinez 05-19-2005 07:36 PM

Listened to that CD yet?

The forum has been really dead the last two days but right now I'm watching American Idol: The Worst Auditions. It's hilarious.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 07:45 PM

Hey Chris, have you picked up those cd's yet?

Gnarmageddon 05-19-2005 07:45 PM

Yeah, I listened to it in the car when my parents and I went to get ice cream. It's a lot different from TFTR, but I still like it. I love 'The Realist' and 'Zombies Are Good For Your Health.'

And I think a lot of those auditions are fake. Some of them are sooooo bad. Like you'd have to know if you were really that bad.

cbmartinez 05-19-2005 08:00 PM

Glad you like it. I love that dark bass intro to "The Realist" and "Zombies Are Good For Your Health" is just awesome.
Hey Chris, have you picked up those cd's yet?
Haha, nope, tomorrow I get my allowance so hopefully I can get them.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:02 PM

I see, thats cool.

This is my 200th post. It equals total spam! It is a good accomplishment to me though! :chug: :smoke: :chug: Party!

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:25 PM

I've heard good things.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:27 PM

Haha. Yeah i didnt really post much until two months ago. I just read the topics, becuase i didnt want to get made fun of. Kinda like how we made fun of the noobs last night, I didn't want that to happen to me.

Gnarmageddon 05-19-2005 08:28 PM

I kind of regret being a dumb n00b. It's weird because I think all users go through phases like that. And then one day they realize that they're being complete idiots and they clean up.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:30 PM

Yeah, I agree with you. They need like an advice section for noobs in the pit or something.

Gnarmageddon 05-19-2005 08:31 PM

Humor99 made one, and it was good. But it never really went into effect. I'll see if I can find it.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:32 PM

The Forums would be a lot more smoother with it i think. And maybe stricter Mods!

Gnarmageddon 05-19-2005 08:34 PM

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=336328

Meh. It wasn't exactly what I was describing it to be, but it's close.

And I agree. We do need stricter mods, and maybe a few more. Yes, this will sound dumb. But I think I would make a really good mod. I always seem to be around when crappy threads are made, and a lot of the time I'm doing a mod's job and directing n00bs to exact threads they just made a topic about. It would be great if I could close the thread right when I did it. But then again, who couldn't say "Yeah, I'd make a good mod."? Everyone wants to be a mod.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:39 PM

I would vote for you as mod!

Gnarmageddon 05-19-2005 08:39 PM

Haha. Thanks.

But I know if I requested, there could be tons of other people that would deserve it more than me.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:40 PM

Meh, I donno. Some guys might be more able to, but i still think you would qualify for the job.

Kif would make a good mod.

Jim won't be appointing new mods, probably ever as far as he's convinced that the site is running like a dream with the current working staff. I've been recommended for Pit mod along with several other users, mods have been requested in various music forums and so on. Jim doesn't believe it's necessary.

Improving this site is 50% staff effort and 50% user effort. As long as the users simply sit and complain about things that they do on a regular basis, nothing will improve.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:44 PM

Yeah, Jared does have a point. I think you would make a good mod. You are well-respected.

Yeah. The main problem is The Pit. Everything else seems to be pretty good, but I definitely think The Pit could use a few more mods. You'd be able to get the job done. You don't take any BS.

lstprphtspnk12 05-19-2005 08:46 PM

I think there's some reference to his modship in the back of the Bible. It's in this weird section called "Revelations". Something about an Anti-Christ or some stuff like that.
