I don't really have anything interesting to say, just posting for the sake of it.

Yeah, same here. Not a lot of new material.

I requested to give S&L a twist into a more holistic Songwriting forum, that means add the whole compositional experience part of songwriting and not so much only lyrics, but I got no response from the modz.

Musicality is alot harder to criticise what with subjectivity and all that. And it might just turn into a giant 'post ur bands myspace lol' forum.

And it'll take away the fun of being able to tell people to go to audio arena. Somtimes that's the only reason I get up in the morning.

Saying "this sucks" is pretty easy I think I should be a mod.

No, I don't mean band whoring, I mean specific questions of how to make a good chord progression, how to make things fit lyrically and musically, etc.

Ive just got back from uni for the summer so should have three months of boring home life before I move back. might try some writing again soon....

I'm back to work. I'm working behind a bar again, which is alright. Better than some desk job I guess.

Tojes can make protest music and I can make bar room music. When its quiet I'll sit in the corner, have a smoke and play on the out of tune piano.

Or I would, but now there's a smoking ban in the uk

We've got a jukebox in work, its connected to the internet and plays random songs. So I sit behind the bar flicking through the songs until I find something half decent then sit and do the cross word.

Work is actually pretty easy, easier than the nasty posh hotel I used to work in.

Damn, that sounds loads cooler than a grocery store. Hooray putting candy in plastic bins and cleaning up after obnoxious little kids.

Also, I completely reworked that last piece... I'm still not very happy with it, but it's a lot better than before, at least for what I'm getting at... critiques would be much appreciated.

my house is dusty and is making me sneeze too much. all of my clothes need washing and i can't be bothered. there's nothing on the television and i have resigned myself to learning to play the recorder. haven't really written anything lately and i spend too much time on the internet. facebook is rubbish but good for stalking and mx is repetitive but addictive. and its raining alot. in july. and i'm going camping in a few days.

so that. that is what's up.

I got payed today. SO that's good. I won't spend the money because I'm saving for my shiny, cool 80 GB ipod. I'm 270 american dollars away
