What bass can you play...

no it does not represent any fantasies AT ALL!!
it was made when one of my mates dog had a similar name to mine and then the dog smelt of wetdog apparantly, so the name stuck...
im into metallica, disturbed, soad, a bit of hoobastank, machine head and any other heavy stuff i find.

Oh dude it is, playing carosel was the hardest challenge ive EVER had :p

im gonna learn some jaco wehn a friend copies some cds of him 4 me. apart from that its either some black sabbath cos i love the bass riffs to their songs and i can play the bass solo for nib (dunno how difficult that is tho...)

A reg in the bass forum is here now, im gonna have to pretend i dont like root notes and im good :(

Yeah you wanna get into that stuff. I'd recommend you stay away from jaco and play easier stuff and then move on to him. The three songs i can play of his are all missions. Marcus Miller, thats who i used to play

could u give me some tips on slaps cos im finding it really difficult to even start playing slaps :confused:

Well have your hand over the strings, fingers pionting to the floor, then quickly srike the string with your thumb, on the side, and quickly move it back up.

any thing else cos i find coordination between stings blo*dy difficult also when i try to slap

If your hitting the other strings, just mute them with your spare fingers.

plus i duno if i get the right sound cos i think it vibrates in the first fret or sumthing cos i have a poor starting bass as i only started in april....

if its ringing, lift the action by getting an allen key, and turning the screws in the bridge.

It could be a screwdriver not an A-key
