Anxious 02-01-2007 03:04 PM

I'm doing alright.

How about you?

coe 02-01-2007 03:06 PM

My mom asked me if I've ever heard of the Pitchfork Music Festival and said she wants me out of the house, so that she'll pay for the ticket and transportation and hotel.

Looks like I'll be in Chicago this summer, or whenever it is.

Eliminator 02-01-2007 03:06 PM

Anxious 02-01-2007 03:11 PM

coe 02-01-2007 03:17 PM

Make yourself throw up. It helps sometimes.

Anxious 02-01-2007 03:22 PM

no.

Rabbi 02-01-2007 03:23 PM

ew wtf

coe 02-01-2007 03:30 PM

What's bad about it? That's usually the first thing I try whenever my stomach hurts, or if I have some sort of weird chest pain. Most of the time it works.

Anxious 02-01-2007 03:31 PM

Its more of just a general weakness/bad feeling.

coe 02-01-2007 03:31 PM

Do you have the flu?

Anxious 02-01-2007 03:40 PM

Its a possibility that I'm starting to get it but mine sinus' are completley fine.

coe 02-01-2007 03:41 PM

Look up your symptoms on Wikipedia.

Anxious 02-01-2007 03:42 PM

That wont get very far.

asdf 02-01-2007 03:48 PM

Diagnosing yourself online is like the worst thing to do ever. I came home sick one time thinking I was dying already (I had terrible stomach pains that were so bad, I couldn't stop writhing in pain). I went online because I'm paranoid about appendicitis, and a friend recently had it, so I looked up symptoms online and it sounded just about right for me.

Didn't go to the hospital, and I'm still not dead, so obviously that wasn't it.

Anxious 02-01-2007 03:52 PM

Yes I agree, its not uncommon for you to get a pretty wild diagnosis using the internet.

However, last summer I had horrible stomach pains and a fever. I thought I had appendicitis, went to the hospital. The nurse said I probably had it, and by the time I got to an actual doctor it was completly gone. When i went back to school the guy next to me said he was out from the stomach flu. I'll never forgive him for that.

asdf 02-01-2007 04:00 PM

I've always had this fear of appendicitis because I used to get these really weird horrible stomach pains when I was a kid and my mom would flip out because like two of her sisters and her dad have had it. She would always make a big deal, so it scared the bejeezus out of me.

This last time I was at school and I felt okay at first, but it got really bad first hour, and would not quit. Not only that, but it was our school's veteran's day assembly, which means I had to dress up, and stand silently for two hours (including practice). Second hour was the practice and I just could not stand. I was freaking out, and it hurt so much it made me have to throw up. Eventually they allowed me to go to the office where I rolled around on the floor in a back room until my dad came.

But since we don't have health insurance, going to the hospital never happens. I would really like to know what it was all about, though.
probably because you are a large bundle of sticks
hilarious

Anxious 02-01-2007 04:05 PM

That sounds a bit like what happened to me but luckily I was at home when it started. It was the worst pain I've ever had in my life. You could have just had a stomach virus/flu like me because after I threw up it subsided pretty quickly.

coe 02-01-2007 04:10 PM

Did someone call for a doctor?

Eliminator 02-01-2007 04:15 PM

how much be tickets

pixiesfanyo 02-01-2007 04:16 PM

pixiesfanyo 02-01-2007 04:20 PM

asymm 02-01-2007 04:22 PM

pixiesfanyo 02-01-2007 04:28 PM

you could go to the streets of new york and watch a guy bang on a trash can.

Kayetan 02-01-2007 04:31 PM

Yeah, it's a real bang for your buck(et)

Anxious 02-01-2007 05:00 PM

edit

coe 02-01-2007 05:51 PM

Maybe the three of us could meet up and feel awkward and talk about MX in real life.

Eliminator 02-01-2007 05:53 PM

that would be pretty indie dude

Zmev 02-01-2007 06:21 PM

there will never be a more indie mx meetup than the time myself, gbs, and dfel planned the heist of a xbox from frys.

And then didn't do it.

but we went to gbs's band's show so it was all good.
