They're kinda more towards punk than they are metal. I like them, it's different to Megadeth but still good.
Do they have an official website? I've searched all over google, but I can't seem to locate one if they do.

Jev 09-11-2005 03:56 PM

I'm not sure, I've only managed to scavenge a couple of songs from the YSI thread.

I just got back from seeing Megadeth live, and it was quite the show.

Hangar 18 is intense live.

I hope Dave does Gigantour again next year.

Jev 09-12-2005 08:47 AM

I do too. :(

I think he will. Gigantor seems to be pretty popular.

You know the remastered KIMB is nowhere near the quality of the other remasters?

Father_Jack 09-12-2005 01:49 PM
You know the remastered KIMB is nowhere near the quality of the other remasters?
Is it better than the original tho, coz i have that and i can't listen to it because the quality is really poor.

N.P: Skull Beneath the Skin - Megadeth

Pantera in Chains 09-12-2005 01:57 PM
nothing to do with the subject, but where is chris poland now?
Well of course he did the solos on TSHF but he's got his own band called Ohm and he also did some solos on Lamb of Gods - Ashes in the wake.

Why does everyone think so lowly of CTE (or at least those two people)? Thats a great album...

In my eyes it goes like
1. Rust In Peace
2. Countdown To Extinction/Youthanasia/Peace Sells (i cant decide)
5. So Far So Good So What
6. Cryptic Writings
7. The System Has Failed
8. Killing Is My Business
9. The World Needs A Hero
10. Risk

Jev 09-12-2005 02:28 PM

Why does everyone not like TWNAH?

Whale and Wasp 09-12-2005 02:30 PM

cryptic writings > everything else

lightningmetal666 09-12-2005 02:30 PM

Ha, I was talking to a friend of mine that wanted me to do a cover of Devil's Island with him. I told him I haven't heard that song before, thinking that I haven't and as it turns out I had previously burned a copy of my friends assorted collection of Megadeth songs and it was on there. Kinda funny as I really liked the intro to that song but I didn't know what the name of it is. Now I can go and tell my friend that I'd be more that happy to do a cover of that song with him. He like many ppl will probably laugh at me.

Jev 09-12-2005 02:40 PM

Devil's Island \m/
Or with Dave's singing "Neville's Island!"

RustedPieces 09-12-2005 02:50 PM

Yeah he sings weird sometimes. I couldn't understand a word he's saying in Good Mourning/Black Friday, until I looked at the lyrics.

Jev 09-12-2005 02:51 PM

I thought he was singing about Kookaburras in Captive Honor. Turns out it was Conqueror.

Britton 09-12-2005 02:52 PM

^ lol you all got a great thread name

did you all see that marty friedman video in the guitar forum>?

if not you should it was really cool
