Not what I've been hearing...
It's... different. It reminds me of Wilco's "A Ghost Is Born" in the sense that both albums sound like "Well, we just made some incredible albums, so let's just kick back and lazily jam."

Why don't you like Cryptopsy Iai?

Arg, the new Weezer is pretty lame overall.

What makes you think I don't like them?

I've actually never heard them.

Happymeal 05-07-2005 04:18 PM

The Black Heart Procession are just what I need right now.

Zappa 05-07-2005 04:29 PM

They're up there on my wishlist, with None So Vile. About 8th or something.

Six Organs of Admittance - School of the Flower
^ Excellent, heartfelt, with some terrific psychedelic textures.

Zappa 05-07-2005 05:37 PM

Got a CD from my grandparents in the mail today. It's their new release, featuring a bunch of viola/piano sonatas.

All I listened to from it so far is the Dvorak, but it's good stuff. Perhaps I'm a bit biased.

3rdplanet 05-07-2005 06:48 PM

Anything Trip-Hoppy has been getting a large amount of play, especially Lamb and DJ Shadow.

I've been listening to Broken Social Scene's second album all day today.
Wow.

which album?

Iai 05-08-2005 04:20 PM

Bartender did mention that he'd uploaded The Man-Machine, so probably that.

talk show host 05-08-2005 04:26 PM

Ah ok.

I have Trans-Europe Express on my computer but i've yet to listen to it. Any Kraftwerk at all in fact. I feel like such a criminal.

Iai 05-08-2005 04:31 PM

You should.

Luxor 05-08-2005 05:15 PM

I'm really liking the new QOTSA album. I just started getting into them recently. I have both Songs For The Deaf and Lullabies To Paralyze. Most people have been saying "LTP is good, but it's no SFTD".

Maybe it's because I'm new to them, but I think that Lullabies is a lot better.
