im in chemistry now guys, and i have to do my project. its horrible, i have less than 1% of it finished and i was working on it for an hour yesterday.

Yeah quite a few layers of a nice glossy ultra think leaf gold spray. Currently spraying a clear laquer over now. Need alot of coats.

i think i want to make my hardware gold/brass now...

about how much would it cost to spray a 5 piece (lugs and rims)? are you getting these professionally done or self?

I'm doing them myself. Yeah Im doing all lugs and stuff.

I thought at first that the spray wouldn't hold on the shiny chrome stuff, but it's really thick spray I use.

[url]http://www.monstercolors.com/store01.php[/url] the sort of stuff for graffiti stuff. It's a 400ml can, and I've nearly used it just one tom hehe, it's pretty cheap though for a can. The clear laquer holds it all, (bought somewhere else, any should do) and it's pretty hard to scratch now since Ive done a few coats. That stuff was 2 quid. About $3.50.

For a 5 piece, would take some time. The end result should be ace though. If a can of spray was $4 then your looking at about $20. That's just for the gold brass stuff. Wherever you can find some locally or on the net.

I decided to buy a thermus anyway, but just put a can of un-cooked soup in there, and bake him some cookies. THOSE will stay good for a coupla days.

No problem man, I'm just not on as much because I'm at college right now, but I like to help a guy out, I mean, I had alot of trouble with that sort of thing myself in high school.

Yeah, being a teenager is weird. Before last year I was like a nerd with no life and all I did was school, sports, and music. But now I'm like...involved in stuff and I have a social life and relationships and stuff and its weird. It can be fun but at the same time I kinda miss being a kid and not having to worry about this teenage stuff that seems like a big deal right now but is actually not at all.
