nothing stayed on the ground here, it snowed for a total of like 3 mins and stopped.

It snowed for a while, but it didn't stay. It's still freezing though.

School doesn't cancel unless we get like 2' of snow, usually.

But, with the snow coming so early in the year, plows won't be ready, so if it would start to stick, I suppose we could have off.

Well the plows won't be ready and also if stuff's falling down it might make it too treacherous.

I know how stingy people are about snow cancelations hah. Only cencellation I ever had was during a blizzard and we ended up getting a week off.
