As for Iced Earth, they were one of the bands that got me into metal, so I can't hold anything against them.
I know you didn't mention them, but those 3 bands are very close with each other, with same members and such.

What I know is:
Blind Guardian and Demons And Wizards have the same singer.
Iced Earth and Demons And Wizards have the same guitarist.
There might be other members from the other bands in Demons And Wizards, but I am quite sure no members of Blind Guardian are in Iced Earth or the other way around.
