The scene sucks where I live, or we don't have any actually.

post-metal is generally pretty suck but normal metal is good stuff

I have a couple friends who like metal but most dismiss anything with harsh vocals as noise.

My main homedawg listens to good metal...

the only other people I know that listen to metal are dumbasses who only listen to Cannibal corpse and Nile and mortician lolol

My best friend's music taste is basically mine because I give him my stuff and my roommate listens to mainly prog which I usually give him as well.

None of my friends have as awesome taste as me :(

A few like some metal but really the most compatible metal folks I know are my brothers who get all of their music from me nowadays.

I don't care if others have a better taste in music than me, as long as i listen to the better music.

But better is subjective anyay. So I don't give a **** at all.
I listen to what I do and I like it, that's all that matters.
