My plan today is to clean my room, finish my uni entrance piece thing, and then play dead rising. But i cant be arsed to do the first 2, even though i realy need too.

AG 09-15-2006 05:50 AM

Sounds good :thumb:

How much you got, 3k?

Gawd, uni is so close, im quite excited/scare now.

AG 09-15-2006 06:00 AM

£4015

But that's minus £930 for my tuition fee.

Untitled 09-15-2006 06:06 AM

Ah right, thats not bad for the year.

Do you have to pay acomidation with that?

Thats gonna be a killer for me next year, im gonna keep on working though so i hope ill servive uni ok.

Squirrel 09-15-2006 06:09 AM

I'm scared of uni; I have a psycho whos trying to threaten, blackmail, extort, threaten with menace etc for money for crap I havent done.

He's the most screwed up guy ever, he needs his bollocks smashing in with a claw hammer.

Untitled 09-15-2006 06:12 AM

Thats pretty messed up.

Just hit him, with a claw hammer, as you suggested.

Squirrel 09-15-2006 06:18 AM

I really really wish I could.

AG 09-15-2006 06:28 AM

I'm still living at home.

So that means £1k a term to spend on guitars and booze.

That being said, I owe mum £270 for my bus pass, I need to give the uni £100 towards my greece trip in may, I'm getting a Creative Zen Vision: M and I'm buying either £200 or £250 worth of dollars for my holiday in New York/Las Vegas next year.

(The interest rate is great at the moment, I'll get more dollars now than I will next year. Of course, that doesn't say anything about the buying power of the dollar)

Squirrel 09-15-2006 07:12 AM

Remember the drinking and gambling age there is 21, Aidan, and they're VERY strict about ID'ing people.

I mean, you seen the age bracket that frequents Las Vegas ?

Yeh, but that's a country where politicians can get away with shooting people in the face. It's just not a sensible country, y'know.

Squirrel 09-15-2006 07:19 AM

I'm not sure what to reply with, I cant tell if it were satirical humour or some kind of deprecating comment.

:(

AG 09-15-2006 07:19 AM

I'm not planning on gambling at all. I might be able to drink in the hotel bars, but even if I can't it's no biggie.

I'm taking the money to buy stuff with. Like tacky souveniers.

PAJJ 09-15-2006 07:35 AM

i have about 3000 to spend minus tuition and accommodation, unfortunately i think most of it will go on food and other such 'necessities', I'd of loved to have gone to LV for my 21st next year :(

AG 09-15-2006 07:39 AM

Yeh, having to buy food must suck.

PAJJ 09-15-2006 07:58 AM

yeah i'm think i'm going to be shopping in aldi or lidl or whatever that stupidly cheap supermarket is :(

GurS 09-15-2006 08:01 AM

they're both stupidly cheap supermarkets :)

I might just buy in bulk from costco. That's where teh cehapest stuff is.

Untitled 09-15-2006 09:26 AM

Im gonna keep my job at morrisons proberly, £430 a month will do me nicely.

Untitled 09-15-2006 09:40 AM

I killed the thread.

I just baught a freeview box, and took my bass into the guitar shop to get it set up.

I went in and i was like "its impossable to play, the action is super high and i think the neck needs adjusting, but im not touching the neck myself...." he looked at it and was "yes, your right, im not surprised you find it hard to play, itll be done by tuesday"

Hopefully, if it becomes good to play, then i wont bother with a new bass for a while.

Jev 09-15-2006 09:45 AM

I need to do that with my bass too.

Untitled 09-15-2006 10:03 AM

Yeah, i hope its worth it.

Its only gonna cost me about £20 the guy said so even if it isnt worth it, itll be alright.
