Honestly, I am not playing the elite card here, but my favourite Akercocke release will always be Rape of The Bastard Nazarene. It was total Possessed worship but with added evilness. Murky production, birds moaning, bit of keys now and again for atmosphere and then back to the blast. Ace!

It's pretty good. After awhile all the riffs start to sound the same, but it's a decent-to-good album.

They could have done much much worse.
