What?
Oh, on the last page I posted about spraypainting a Bad Brains stencil on my leopard chucks.
Do it outside.

Or on her car.
It's raining.
Gah, my mom's being a bitch. She won't move her damn car out of the garage because she says spraypaint won't work.
Are you making a shirt? If you are, I think fabric paint works and looks better. The shirts I made with spray paint seemed to run a lot.

What's the point in doing it yourself if you're not gonna do it yourself?

How to convert a photo into a real life stencil^^.

Where can I get zippers for a cheap price? I looked all around the local shops and I can't find them.

Liebensaft 01-21-2006 08:30 PM

Try a craft store. I recall seeing them in a place called Jo-Ann Fabrics by me.

A: You live in Dalton, home of the infamous Church of God/Union Assembly Incorporated. You have nothing.

B: You like Anti-Flag. HAHAHAHA.

I usually get zippers from old clothes, and bags and things. Just rip out the seams of old crap no one wants.

mookie91 01-21-2006 08:47 PM

Crack-Rock-Steady - Thanks I'll look one up.

Rise Me Up:
A: I have no choice I have to live hear.
B: Does it really matter what band I listen to nope. I am sure that you listen to a band that someone here dosent like.

DaveToopes 01-21-2006 08:50 PM

Nah, I like every band that Brad listens to.

mookie91 01-21-2006 08:57 PM

Alright mabey I'm wrong no big deal. ;)

AIRIC 01-21-2006 08:58 PM

Don't worry they are bitches.

Liebensaft 01-21-2006 09:01 PM

I listen to some Anti-Flag. They're ok. Don't listen to Brad. He's got sand in his vagina.

Rise Me Up 01-21-2006 09:04 PM

I WAS JUST KIDDING YOU TWO SUPER, TOO-GNAR-FOR-ME-KIDS. I like the song Drink, Drank, Punk by Anti Flag.

Liebensaft 01-21-2006 09:05 PM

Much better, Bradley.

I'm looking for a zipper now, too. Just today my boot zipper broke. :(

Led-ZeppelinIV 01-21-2006 10:47 PM

Okay, here's the deal with my shoes:

After some convincing, my mom moved her car. I cut the stencil out on posterboard, stuffed my shoe with newspaper, taped on the stencil, and sprayed. A few hours later, when the paint's dry, I come back to find that I used way too much spraypaint, way to close to the stencil, so it was just a big runny mess, with the original logo still barely visible. So I got this idea to just keep that big runny mess there and trace over the original logo in black marker. So I did that, and now it actually looks great and probably actually cooler and more original than just the logo would have been. Isn't it great when things work out?

Eventually I'll borrow some coloured sharpies from my friend and do the toe in rasta colours.

AIRIC 01-21-2006 10:50 PM

That's very cool.

Flagjacket 01-21-2006 10:50 PM

Those are tight. I wouldn't think that lime green would look good on leopard print.

Led-ZeppelinIV 01-21-2006 10:51 PM
Those are tight.
Thanks, I'm really happy with them.
I wouldn't think that lime green would look good on leopard print.
Yeah, me neither actually. But to decide on the colour I took a pic of some leopard print from the net and tried different colours on it, and green seemed to work the best.

Have you ever spray painted a stencil before? Cos that's a whole lotta paint. Looks awesome though.:thumb:

Led-ZeppelinIV 01-21-2006 11:06 PM

No, first time. Next time, less paint and greater distance between can and target.

me likes punk 01-21-2006 11:07 PM

haha yeah that would be a very good idea. Also, where did you get that spray paint?

Led-ZeppelinIV 01-21-2006 11:08 PM

From a paint store. Why?

Liebensaft 01-21-2006 11:10 PM

That looks really cool. Except that little green splatter that strayed off. Oh well.

AIRIC 01-21-2006 11:11 PM

that makes it look diy as fux.

DaveToopes 01-21-2006 11:11 PM

Those shoes turned out really good, I like them. Chucks would be cool to stencil on, but my feet always hurt when I had a pair.
