It's hard to be sure, to be honest. Bitchfork mostly posts through one of the more highly used proxy IPs we've got registered on the site, so while I can only assume he's an alt based on some of the evidence, the people with shared IPs (in some instances there's hundreds of users, in others closer to seven or eight, but there are common threads) aren't nearly as moronic as he is. I'm inclined to believe he's just a stupid kid.

No to both. And posting through a proxy isn't necessarily intentional, plenty of IPs route from time to time.

I'm really getting sick of the people that double, triple and even quadruple post on a regular basis. it's obnoxious and looks horrible. needtopost and noonward do this constantly. seems to be the people that only come to rnm to post in the comm and photo thread and don't add any thing to the music threads.

can we just have a rule that if you only post in the comm and photo thread that you need to get the fuck out? i mean this is the rock and metal forum, people that don't talk about rock and metal aren't really part of the community. they should really be back in the pit if they just want to bullshit and not talk about music.

it has nothing to do with post count or how long people have been here. it's that people from the pit act like this is the pit II and only talk in the comm thread.

this is a music forum, all of the regs talk about music and rec things to each other and discuss bands etc. the comm thread is for discussion within this community. people who only post in that thread aren't really a part of the community. they should go back to the pit if they want to triple post nonsense.
