I recently downloaded Pandemonium by Killing Joke.

Supposedly it's like revolutionary post-punk influenced industrial rock.

I have their self-titled, I really should listen to it.

Is that their debut, or something later on?

I tried giving the debut a spin once and it was pretty annoying. It was like pre-post-punk if that makes any sense.

while we are on the post punk side of thing PiL is making me very depressed

yeah it was the 1980 release, I could be wrong but I remember having to put something else on like two songs into it

I've yet to listen to PiL. Or Jesus and Mary Chain, for that matter.

I liked [i]Chiastic Slide[/i] though a lot of people seem to think their work started to get really weak after [i]Tri Repetae[/i]. I've heard good things about [i]LP5[/i] as well.

I like [i]Great White Death[/i], but I have to admit I have a penchant for terrible noise music with lyrics about rape. I think its pretty good as far as power electronics go, I hear their later stuff gets worse but I haven't checked it out yet.

i've only heard the one album and some Current 93 remix stuff I didn't dig all that much, it was unusual but i don't think it was by any means laughably terrible

Autechre's [i]Confield[/i] was a really immersive listen, I think I like it more then anything else i've heard from them.

Also, i've started to warm up to Foetus's [i]Love[/i]. I used to hate this album, it definitely feels weaker then any of his other stuff. It has an odd charm to me though.
