I noticed a little bump on my wrist a few weeks ago. I've had wrist pain on and off for years, from the combination of guitar playing, tennis playing, and computer time. Lately my wrist has been hurting like a mother****er in the night.

I'm home on break this week, and I showed my wrist to my mom. She's had carpel tunnel surgery three times, and works in a hospital. As soon as she saw it, she said "Oh, that's a ganglion"

I wiki'd it, and found out some stuff. I'm getting a doctor's appointment for it.


This is getting close to one of my biggest fears: Not being able to play guitar anymore.

Lee: I had bump on my playing wrist a few months ago, so I took it easy with my playing and the bump went away on its own.


Yeah, but you're not in depths of it. Its get worse north of I-10. I'm talking the number of church > number of secular buildings

Tallahassee should be pretty bad.

So how serious is that, Lee? I don't know jack **** about medical stuff.

Apparently it's not that big of a deal, but it can cause other things.

And if you have surgery to get it removed, it can keep coming back. :(

I definitely had a ganglion cyst. just take it easy for a bit and see if starts to go away.
