My first single. I think I'm gonna change my style up. Wanna be more aggressive. Let me know what you guys think.[/QUOTE]

This is actually really good.

You should do something about the volume spikes in the vocals and add some more reverb, but for a demo it's not a bad production.

OK let's get a couple things straight. (1) Cocaine you're a stupid ass piece of poop Nazi mod with an IQ about as frail as your pencil dick. Just about the only redeemable thing about this site was going into the picture thread and seeing your ugly caveman ass; and the perpetual joke that is your taste in music (PTHlol). (2) My posts were not worthy of a ban or even deletion as (A) they were on-topic (unlike rasputin's) and (B) me and rasputin are extremely good friends outside of this forum so there was no flaming going on. Learn how to fusty walrus!ing mod, as there are a slew of off-topic posts made in this thread every day and you completely ignore them because they aren't made by someone who threatens the integrity of your non-existent death metal knowledge and whose looks you are jealous of.

I'd also like to say that this cesspool of a site is the most unappreciative wad of semen and by far the worst community I've ever been a part of. I'd hate to see what all of your social lives are actually like, but I'm sure they'll make a nice d0cumentary one day about the decline of humanity. Nothing but reprobate drug addicts and ugly people reside here and the fact that I took time out of my busy life to visit speaks volumes about how much I pity all of you.

Ban me from this site forever or I'll post animal photographs everywhere.

Good luck in knowing what death metal albums are “elite” in the future without someone who actually wades through all the poopty death metal to find the diamonds.

Thanks a lot! haha Glad someone actually responded. And yeah I really don't know how to fix the vocal spikes... my mic is this fancy 150 dollar usb mic but its so god damn sensitive sometimes. So I tried to edit them out in the recording. And I'll have to see what reverb sounds like on it.

look up dynamic range processors on internet

you know compressors, limiters, gates

and just throw heavy amounts of reverb on everything you can't go wrong with that

im a certified sound engineer so trust me on this

My band finally got a song put up. Take a listen. I'm not in love with the vocals (yes that's me singing) but musically it's a lot of fun.

Definitely wasn't expecting those vocals, so it took me a moment to get used to them, but they're not bad. The higher vocals sound a bit more energetic than the rest. Also, awesome growls, mate.

I'm digging the drums a lot, btw.

combustion07 07-09-2011 01:47 PM

What do you guys record with? I'm thinking about recording a really sludgy powerviolence demo with a friend of mine. Trying to figure out what kind of recording equipment would be cheap but effective.

Yeah I usually sing higher but that song was kind of an oddball for me, I couldn't really figure out what I wanted to do with it. Thanks a lot dude! I'll let you guys know when we post more stuff.

Thanks very much dude! We have some heavier stuff and some lighter stuff, so there's something for everybody. 5 songs are recorded and we're doing 5 more later this summer so I'll be sure and post it for you guys :)
