I wrote this song for a friend of mine...for her birthday specifically. I was gonna do something silly and funny, but it just started going into this summer-y rock song direction, so I ran with it. She never got back to me on whether or not she liked it, probably because she thought I was hardcore in love with her because of the song (I wasn't). But oh well.
