TimmyJames 03-19-2010 04:45 PM

i worked for 12 hours so kinda makes sense!

Tyler 03-19-2010 04:47 PM

TimJim you were banned because you were all smug about it. First you went "oh it's okay to post it as long as you don't put it in IMG tags" and then you posted a link and went "shhhhhhhhh". The lack of an IMG tag is Meatplow's rule, nobody elses.

nevertoolate 03-19-2010 04:49 PM

once a loser ALWAYS a loser

okay well i wouldnt call it being smug

but second of all there is a huge inconsitancy since for instance charlie chapman's post was only deleted and it had a tubegirl vid in it. my post had nip slip and even though ive never gotten banned for posting pron before i get a perm. for a little bit of nipple (even though we as men have nipples whats so exciting about it)

ffs john only got banned for 3 months and he posted a pic of a raccoon chewing on a guys penis.

idk i dont go in the pit but i gather that your banning was largely because of how you approached it and not because of the content.

Jaundice 03-19-2010 05:08 PM

nah it was probably just cuz it was semi

2muchket! 03-19-2010 05:18 PM

Just watched the omen with some of my flatmates.

Never seen it before wasn't that good. Was lol when a scary part came on, I was sit with one of my flatmates sister (she is extremely attractive) she jumped, went to grab my arm and grabbed my crotch instead.

nevertoolate 03-19-2010 05:21 PM

you are in bro, thats a sure sign

2muchket! 03-19-2010 05:24 PM

Nah she has a bf who I'm chill with.

Was an honest mistake.

Jaundice 03-19-2010 05:48 PM

all of my friends are busy or are mysteriously ignoring me today

guess i have no choice but to text random nerd girl from school and ask her to hang out

Morumbar 03-19-2010 05:53 PM

Just watched V For Vendetta. Pretty cool movie.

Jaundice 03-19-2010 05:55 PM

i never watched it because after reading every dystopian novel ever in early high school i figured i was too elite or something

i'll probably catch it on tv or something

Morumbar 03-19-2010 06:04 PM

Idk, I usually read fantasy novels. I had to read [I]1984[/I] and [I]Brave New World [/I]for philosophy class this year, but those are the only dystopian novels I've ever read.

Jaundice 03-19-2010 06:13 PM

1984 and Brave New World got me so excited that I kind of went on a binge and wrote down every classic dystopia I could find and tried to make a point of reading them. I think I might have gotten distracted but I at least grabbed some Philip Dick , JG Ballard, and stuff like that.

I don't know if I told you this before but you should really read We by Yevgeny Zamyatin. It's the novel that inspired 1984 and pretty much sets the entire prototype for it.

Morumbar 03-19-2010 06:19 PM

Cool, I wrote it down to keep it in mind.

I think [i]1984[/i] was a very good book. The same goes for [i]Brave New World[/i]. But fantasy is more my thing, though. Reading stuff that keeps me from thinking too much right before I go to bed helps me sleep better. I tend to get too caught up in these things and constantly question myself in everything I believe in. Which is a good thing, of course, but not right before I go to bed. I do intend to read some of Nietzsche's and Kierkegaard's stuff sometime. So far the only philosophical book I've read is [i]On The Suffering Of The World[/i] by Schopenhauer.

Angmar 03-19-2010 06:19 PM

V for Vendetta is an awesome movie.

lim 03-19-2010 06:20 PM

Tyler 03-19-2010 06:24 PM

[QUOTE=Jaundice;17872499]nah it was probably just cuz it was semi[/QUOTE]

I'm reading Island right now, Aldous Huxley's last book he wrote when he was dying. Basically a Utopian novel and the opposite of BNW. You can tell he changed a lot between the two books.

lim 03-19-2010 06:27 PM

judy bloom is probably the most unheralded dystopian novelist of her ea

Morumbar 03-19-2010 06:30 PM

Idk, dystopian novels are interesting, but I really think that every utopian thing that I've ever read is just cringe worthy. I just really don't see it working out. Social utopias or technical ones. I think a "perfect life" is just a stupid dream for tards.

lim 03-19-2010 06:32 PM

yeah except the american life is the perfect life

Jaundice 03-19-2010 06:49 PM

k about to try and meet up with nerd girl, later bros

Morumbar 03-19-2010 06:55 PM

Cheers.
