I can't wait for junior year. I can take Photography, Phsycology, and I think one or two more really fun classes. I think there's an arcitechure(sp?) class.

man, what is with these fancy schools. i've never seen a high school front the dough for photography classes and stuff.

i didnt do well this year.
i didnt fail anything and i got a B in just about everything except for spansh, straight C-!
my only A the whole year was in guitar class (i got a C in p.e. because you cant wear jeans and that all i have, and i mouth off)

You have to buy your own camera (I think ones required for the class are around $100 - $200 on ebay), and pay a small fee for some developing stuff.

yeah, i know, university classes are the same (not that i've had the free time to take a class like photography). but there's still definitely alot of expense that would have to get absorbed by the school's budget.

My high school had photography and video production, but the county and state paid for it because it was our school's ROP, which are programs that the county and state pay for to prepare you for a certain field. Other schools in the area had drafting, etc.

They send all the retarded kids to my school, all the deaf to another one, the blind to another etc...

yeah, my school gets a lot of extra cash becuase we're the top high school in the state and we win all of the science fair stuff so we get even more bonuses. And we have another school building about a block away from the main one called "the youth performing arts school". It's a whole other building just for dance/theatre/chorus/band/etc. It counts as it's own school, so we get extra money from that.

Basically, our school is filthy rich compared to the other schools around here. But it's really hard to get in.

Why is it that schools with excellent scores and great classes get so much money for being great, when schools like mine, who need the funding, get next to no money and forces teachers to use two markers for a whole year, and forces students to make use of books that aren't even in print anymore?

I have come to the conclusion that all in all, life sucks without a girl. Not even like a steady girlfriend. Just a girl to hangout with and look forward to seeing. Doing the same s'hit day after is s'hitty enough, then coming home and hanging out with a bunch of dudes makes it even worse, especially when they have their girlfriends with them. F'uck this s'hit.
