I usualy wouldnt care, but i have 2 shows im going to this weekend.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:01 PM

Who are you seeing?

Untitled 10-12-2005 05:03 PM

On Friday im seeing The Ordinary Boys, and on Sunday im seeing Maximo Park and Kaiser Cheifs. Good ol' british brit-pop/indie

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:05 PM

Ah, okay, sounds awesome. I've only ever heard anything by Maximo Park, but shows are always a good time.

Untitled 10-12-2005 05:07 PM

Yeah, im not too botherd about seeing maximo park, im going to see the kaisers and there kinda a bonus. Ordinary Boys are good, they sound pretty reagie influanced, fair few of there songs have a horn section. Cool for an indie band me thinks.

Untitled 10-12-2005 05:20 PM

Im going to bed. Night.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:21 PM

Good night Butler.
Dissapointing. Completely.

There're maybe two songs on the album that still retain their agression and energy. It's for the most part quite mellow and boring.

And I think teppei was asleep when he wrote it. I haven't heard a single good riff.

Some people love it, though. Then again, some people are into being ****ed in the butt by a horse. To each his own.
I've heard comparisons to Radiohead's OK Computer. If it's actually like that I'm so psyched to hear it.

Gnarmageddon 10-12-2005 05:24 PM

Thrice can pull off a fast, heavy album so much better than a slow album.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:25 PM

I liked The Artist In The Ambulance because it was a good mix of heavy andcatchy songs.

"Paper Tigers" is awesome. It's so intense.

Gnarmageddon 10-12-2005 05:28 PM

I think every song on TAITA is intense. "Don't Tell And We Won't Ask" and "The Abolition Of Man" are my two favorite songs off of it.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:29 PM

Yeah, you're right. I love that album. Every song on it is excellent.

CD definitely dragged. It had it's songs then it had it's fillers IMO.

Permanent Solution 10-12-2005 05:31 PM

But I listen to a wider variety of music than most (if not all) of you :p

I hope I like it :(

I could listen to it on their myspace...but I don't know if I want to.

I'm with Brian. I thought every song was good.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:32 PM

You listen to a crazy variety of music, Vince.

I listen to a lot of different styles, but most are related to punk in some way.

Spence: TAITA is one of my favorite albums by any band.
