I'm not a pot head, I just looooooooooveee pot. Yo.

coheneran 11-15-2005 10:01 PM

The first letters of our names spell Nee. Worst Monty Python sketch ever. Nee nee nee! You must bring us, a SHRUBBERY! Nee!

I meant to tell you this a long time ago StruckEverywhere, but the time never felt right until now. Bananaman rules! I used to watch it when I was a wee laddie.

Glitterati 11-15-2005 10:06 PM

I know you didn't just refer to to something from the funniest film of all time as "the worst sketch ever."

AndreTheHyena 11-15-2005 10:10 PM
Well, I smoke cancer-inducing cigarettes and drink liver-eating alcohol. Blah blah blah. But, basically, in my belief system, the only drugs I could do are: pot, shrooms, coke, tobacco, alcohol. Blah blah blah
The fact that you include coke completely discredits your philosophy. Might as well do Heroin, dawg. C'mon, it's just an opiate.

coheneran 11-15-2005 10:10 PM
I know you didn't just refer to to something from the funniest film of all time as "the worst sketch ever."
It's horrible compared to their other sketches. And that definitely is not the funniest film ever. Top 5, but not funniest. Their live shows where way better anyway.

Brain Toad 11-15-2005 10:14 PM

The only way coke is natrual is if you chew the leaves or buy that tea that is made from the leaves, and that is such a tiny amount compared to whats in cocaine

urrite. We all know Airplane and The Big Lebowski are tied for funniest ever.

Enough with the fighting already. You can BOTH be Eric!
urrite. We all know Airplane and The Big Lebowski are tied for funniest ever.
Airplane is one of the worst parodies I've ever seen. Worse than The Naked Gun 3 (And 2/3).

AIRIC 11-15-2005 10:18 PM

No I'm Eric I called it.

AndreTheHyena 11-15-2005 10:19 PM
urrite. We all know Airplane and The Big Lebowski are tied for funniest ever.
Fuck the Britons. The Big Lebowski is funnier than anything to ever be related to the Monty Python franchise*.

*Though Terry Gilliam's directorial talents for Fear and Loathing gave it a run for its money...
No I'm Eric I called it.
Can't one of you be Erik? Erik is cooler anyway.

StruckEverywhere 11-15-2005 10:19 PM
Bananaman rules!
Correct.
Airplane is one of the worst parodies I've ever seen. Worse than The Naked Gun 3 (And 2/3).
You mean 33 1/3?

Go back to England.

So wrong it's not funny.

AndreTheHyena 11-15-2005 10:23 PM

Monty Python is funny at times, but usually just obnoxious.

This is going to be a losing argument, because dissing the 'Python on an internet message board is like telling the Ozzfest crowd that Randy Rhodes was overrated.

Fear and Loathing is definitely in the top 10, though I'm the only human being who thinks so. And you are WRONG! The Big Lebowski is NOT funnier than the Parrot Sketch or The Cheese Shop or (one of my favourites) How Not To be Seen. Or the best one yet, The Camel Spotting Sketch. Although the Job Interview sketch is incredibly gigglous as well. But then again, so is The Lisping Roman Sketch from Life of Brian. I crack up just thinking about it. That's the funniest movie ever.

Yes well your mom.

AndreTheHyena 11-15-2005 10:28 PM

Like I said, go back to England.

Brain Toad 11-15-2005 10:28 PM

I've never seen any Monty Python

Anarcho Poser 11-15-2005 10:34 PM

Some of it's hilarious, and some of it is just awful.

StruckEverywhere 11-15-2005 10:34 PM
I've never seen any Monty Python
 You must see The Holy Grail, and The Life Of Brian and The Meaning Of Life.

obese_breasts 11-15-2005 10:36 PM

I have yet to see the Meaning Of Life. The other two are hilarious though.

And if you like good ol' american comedy, Mel Brooks is easily the greatest.
History of the World Part I is HILARIOUS.

StruckEverywhere 11-15-2005 10:40 PM

American comedy is just plain horrible in comparison to English.
How do you know how many post you've done in one thread?
In the same line as the thread on the page there's a column saying 'replies'. Click on that and scroll down the little menu till you find your name.
