Merry Christmas everyone

As always, I'm up ridiculously early and have to wait hours before the rest of my family wakes up to open presents :(

Santa brought me an IC rolling glide single pedal though, which shall go nicely with the foot cowbell i'm going to set up.
And I got 3 CD's in my stocking that I really wanted, and probably never would have found in a store myself.

Retarded Chipple 12-25-2006 07:29 AM

Ok, massive post! Only read this little story if you're feeling a bit bored and want a lil story or you're slightly interested or curious in the paranormal...

My girlfriend seems to be partially psychic. She keeps getting indirect dreams or hunches that come true on way or another. Some of them are that not long ago she told me a baby was going to die. A few days later, one of our budgies died. We always refer to our budgies as "the babies". Then, she predicted her car was gonna get smashed...a few days later some vandal randomly kicked her wing mirror in.

As some of you may know, my mum died in September. As it was coming up to Christmas I was feeling a little sad, understandably. Me and Jo (my girlfriend) were sat talking and I told her how I keep having dreams where my mum walks in to my house as though she never went away. Jo explained to me how some peoples "third eye" is open more to things beyond this world than others. Some are really open , i.e. mediums others are more closed such as skeptics etc. She said your third eye opens more when you're asleep and that is how my mum can contact me...

Jo had a hunch that my mum was going to try contact me on Christmas Eve. I assumed it'd be in my sleep but no, it was something a lot weirder. Yesterday (christmas eve here) jo went to work at the petrol station she works at and when there was no customers around, the other woman who my gf was working with said "Jo have you had [insert description of my mum here] pass away recently?" After a little thinking, Jo realised this woman who had never met me or my mum and didn't know of my mum passing away had just described my mum to her! The woman said she'd seen my mum stood there in a dream holding a parchment with a red ribbon. Apparently the red ribbon symbolises love. The parchment has something to do with me not being told something yet, maybe my mum not saying everything she wanted to as she did leave suddenly without really saying goodbye. This woman telling my girlfriend this said "has he had doubts about doing something education related? This woman heard those thoughts and doubts and tells him not to be silly and that she believes in him and that he can do it." I am planning on going to DrumTech in London and on Friday I was having doubts about whether I'd actually go! The other messages were that I have to familiarise myself with the smell of red carnations as whenever I smell that, I know my mum is with me. As soon as my girlfriend told me all this I asked why this woman told her! Apparently the woman had seen my girlfriends face at the end of the dream so she knew it was related to Jo in some way!

After going on our present swapping spree, me and Jo were sat in her car trying to make sense of what Jo's work colleague had told her. Surely it was coincidence? I haven't yet been told anything about the will or whether my mums house was up for sale, sold or anything! So we decided to go for a drive past her house just to see. Bearing in mind this is 12:30am! So we drive past and the place is just empty. On the way back home driving through unlit country lanes we feel a scraping underneath the car like a brach or plastic bag was caught underneath. Gradually the scraping turned into a grinding sound which forced us to stop!!! My girlfriend has been having car problems for ages and only a week ago got it back from the garage with a £250 bill! The gears were ****ed! We had to drive 7 miles back to my house in 1st gear traveling at like 20 miles an hour... all the way with this horrible grinding sound! Luckily we only passed about 4 cars!

Call it coincidence but if we hadn't been told these things related to my mum, we wouldn't have gone for the drive past my mums house and my girlfriends car would have most likely broken today on a longer journey in heavier traffic when she would have been by herself on her way to come see me!

....... weird, especially as the message I left on my mums flowers at the funeral consisted of the sentence "P.S. Don't forget to haunt me" which according to this "medium" woman Jo works with got told too!

Corkofski 12-25-2006 07:57 AM
