No, he's gonna have some sort of surgery tomorrow and then hopefully be out by Tuesday afternoon. There shouldn't be any complications so as long as it remains routine I'll just stay downhere. If things go for the worse though we'll see.

Cob: I thought it was really weird...which wasn't helped by me being drunk but eh. I didn't realize there was a book...

It was really sad too :(

Jessizzle 10-08-2006 03:23 PM

You're an alcoholic.
omg.

Permanent Solution 10-08-2006 03:24 PM

Yeah I know :(

Friday night was worse though...I hate beer but it was all they had so I drank it anyways :\

Dead Star 10-08-2006 03:31 PM

Beer is rank :(
Beer is rank :(
True.

But I think I'm starting to acquire a taste for it because I've been drinking a bit of it lately at parties :(

DepthsOfDreams555 10-08-2006 03:35 PM

I like beer, I didn't used to it but I drank it a lot and I acquired a taste for it, but I don't drink anymore.

Yeah, I think that's happening to me too :-\

You already went through your drinking stage before college? Man kids are too young these days :(

DepthsOfDreams555 10-08-2006 03:40 PM

That's not a bad thing to acquire a taste for beer.

No no no haha. I don't do anything anymore no drinking no smoking or anything. My girlfriend moved and I don't want to do anything stupid and I just don't want to be doing it at this stage in my life I don't want to rely on it, but it is tough to not do it when all your friends are still doing it every weekend. But I'm not through any drinking stages.

Ehh, I guess parts of it were kind of good. Maybe James Van Der Beek just kind of pissed me off.

Beh, it feels less classy (than doing straight shots right? lol :-\)

That's fair I suppose. I'm pretty sure I'm currently dependent on it so meh.

Haha, well if I start drinking beer I can safely say I'll drink anything.

Cant remember the character name, its been awhile. The dude from Dawsons Creek, guy that never shows up to any classes and keeps getting notes from somebody.

Jessizzle 10-08-2006 03:52 PM

beer is cheap and i get drunk off like 2-3
lightweight ftw.

PDWAB 10-08-2006 03:55 PM

I find that if I drink a lot of liquor beforehand I can put away a lot of beer, but if I just jump in with the beer things end badly.

Pfft, as if I remember names. That is the man-whore in my book :p

Yeah, he kinda pissed me off at points. I didn't feel bad for him when he tried to kill himself either unlike the girl. Stupid boy not being able to kill himself though...he's a disgrace to us all.

wow...that's so little :-\ I'm light but wow.

ps

Joel: I've never started on beer..I think it sounds like a bad idea because when you do shots, you know when you're starting to get buzzed a little better I think.

His suicide part was actually hilarious.

And the book is kind of different than the movie (as always). On thing that I know happens in the book that Ellis like to do is make the narrator unreliable. The story is told from the perspective of the gay guy, Dawsons Creek d00d, and the chick thats a virgin in the movie (not in the book), and the gay guy in his part claims to have had sex with Dawson although theres almost no mention of the gay guy in Dawsons descrptions, so you dont know if Dawson dude really did have sex with another guy and hes just trying to hide it or if those were just fantasies written to sound like they actually happened.

I'm glad that im finally reading a lot more.

I can't laugh at suicide :-\

The movie kinda got at that ambiguity I guess but made it less ambiguous. it made it seem like that was a fantasy for instance.

I adore proper draught beer; recently I've really got into Theakston's. Much prefer it to lager, although I'd never pass up a nice cold Kronenbourg. Beer, is good.

Untitled 10-08-2006 04:05 PM

I dont like larger.

But saying that, i cant wait to go to germany and taste so german beer.

Bad Blood 10-08-2006 04:08 PM

i cant drink any kind of beer/lager
