Janeway 08-28-2006 09:21 PM

Well...
I found a school for a career that I'm interested in, in state, with reasonable tuition. The American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in NYC.

I'm interested in it, but I don't know.

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 09:21 PM

Funeral service?

Berk 08-28-2006 09:23 PM
lol, guess whats why when i say "BERKK!!!!1!!!!" i get blocked, lol.
Whats the email?

Janeway 08-28-2006 09:25 PM

Yep. Good money, interesting work, and people will never stop dying.

MXicanDrummer 08-28-2006 09:32 PM

My dad owns a funeral home, I know a bit about the business....good money indeed.

Actually I got myself lost trying to deliver flowers to grave site today. Basically drove aorund in circles till the military honors guys flagged me down.

derryk 08-28-2006 09:46 PM

They should invent a practice pad that has a built in scale, or something. That way you could make sure EVERY stroke was even.

Except in height.. for that, I'd use motion sensors. Man, that would be an expensive pad.

ofDooM 08-28-2006 09:50 PM

oh man, that would be a sick invention...

Maggot Dream 08-28-2006 09:54 PM

That's actually an awesome idea. I'd buy it.

Wait, no I wouldn't. I don't have several hundred dollars to spare on a practice pad. Still a good idea though.

derryk 08-28-2006 09:59 PM

Yeah I guess. The motion sensors sound stupid.. for that, a good ol' fashioned mirror would be good for me. I just thought of putting my pad on a scale. I bet I could somehow make money off this...

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 10:00 PM

They have a pad that does something like that, read an article about it in drummer.

derryk 08-28-2006 10:01 PM

Well.. fuck you then

stevensonmat2 08-28-2006 10:13 PM

LoneStarDrummer 08-28-2006 10:37 PM

Futuro 08-28-2006 10:37 PM

Haha I like how she uses a double pedal for something which could easily be done with one.

Im gonna post on youtube about how great she is.

LoneStarDrummer 08-28-2006 10:40 PM

i don't think she realizes there's a right side to every drum set.

The syllek attacks 08-28-2006 10:45 PM

Her set up is nasty... the drummings flat too...

White 08-28-2006 11:31 PM

Leprechauns1021 08-28-2006 11:38 PM

I just finished watching Aggasi win in teh Open.

The crowd was rowdy, the umpire had to ask them to be quiet like 50 times.
He was always like "Please have a seat"...."Please, you neeed to have a seat"

If i was up there i would be yelling

"HAVE A MOTHER ****ING SEAT YOU **** SUCKING SONS OF BITCHES WITH YOUR ****** ******* AND YOUR ******* GOAT SUCK******** HERMAPHRODITE ***** BITCHES!!!!!"

Sync0pation 08-28-2006 11:42 PM

Sweet.

Janeway 08-29-2006 12:34 AM

I like fall. A lot.

It's my favorite time of year.

The Letchworth craft show is during the fall. I want to buy one of those ceramic flutes they always sell, but I have no money left. Foo. =/
