Naw, I had 143 rep and then the people with 4 stars repped me down so i got to -44. So definetly stay away. My guitar forum buddies helped me and I got back to 10. :)

Man, the Pit sucks for rep. All the dumb-*** Pit rats give rep to each other because they beg, but they all have negative rep levels so the highest any of them get is just shy of 70, and then I go in there, post ONE time, and get repped down twice for "having an avater that sux." They don't even deserve to have the ability to give out rep, much less recieve it. I don't even waste my time there anymore.

I think it's really weird that you can't give rep to anyone...I doubt you would have negative rep like someone said because you're a good user compared to some kids on these forums. Go to the Report Problems thread. Ex-SFK will solve your worries. He seems like the head R+M honcho and he might fix it for ya.

BTW, are the awarding of stars automatic, or do mods have to notice your post and rep count and treat you accordingly?

Automatic, but the db only updates every 15-30 mins.
