Videos are illegal. I wouldn't risk the ban if I were you guys.

Yeah, they went down to drop C tuning for the whole album this time around.
 why is everything illegal?!?

metalhead_matt 09-17-2005 01:15 PM

dest. Chaos, could you direct me to where i could find these vids?
oops triple post, sorry people *bows head in shame*

I don't know, ask the American government. MX stopped all forms of free music transfer because it technically does violate copyright laws, etc.

but these live videos are not for sale anywhere. it's public service stuff LOL!!!!!

MRDuCran 09-17-2005 02:29 PM

Ahh that's why i got banned the other day then, I uploaded the "Fuel" video by Metallica.

Sebek 09-17-2005 02:31 PM

I'd really like to hear COB's cover of "Talk Dirty to Me", but it may be awhile since they lost the DVDs.

So no more Trading Albums over AIM thread?

Shadows 09-17-2005 03:59 PM

The AIM thread is still legal because the music isn't being transferred through the boards.

Shattered_Future 09-17-2005 04:32 PM

MX is still endorsing file sharing though...so isn't it almost like the same thing?

Shadows 09-17-2005 04:38 PM

Apparently not. I don't know, it's not my decision, but it makes sense because the AIM threads are prefectly legal but the YSI threads were against the law.

Shattered_Future 09-17-2005 04:42 PM

I dunno, MX could still get in trouble for endorsing the notion of filesharing...

You could always upload the videos on the Hatecrew forum though if you felt like it, right? We don't have any bans there, do we? :p

TSASI, is that a 7 string guitar? Or is it a bass?

You can't really see the strings, so I was thinking guitar, but the pickups look like bass pickups...

Shadows 09-17-2005 04:44 PM

Yeah, we have the Hatecrew forums so it's not a big deal for us.

It's a bass. You really couldn't tell...?

But Tea Sassy, what kind is it? (the bass, not the bed sheets)

Shattered_Future 09-17-2005 04:46 PM

The picture was kinda fuzzy...

The pickups sure looked like bass pickups though...rather large.

I know that's not a 4 string though...is it a 5 string or 6?

Shadows 09-17-2005 04:47 PM

It appears to be a six. The only thing I can't really see is the headstock.

flamesofbodom 09-17-2005 05:12 PM

Its a 6 string bass. The pic isnt that bad(neither are the bed sheets) :thumb:
Your going to the Palladium show too? Where do you live?

Everyone, go right now to www.google.com and get the program Google Earth. It is the coolest interactive map you will ever see. You can go to any part of the world and it has real satellite photos, I was just checking out freaking Helsinki! It is so much fun so go check it out.
I live in Springfield, Mass...

You are most assuredly my hero.

Sadly, I have yet to play an ESP. That's unfortunate, because I'd like to know if Alexi was justified in switching to it from Jackson. Congratulations on the newest member of your hell-seeking family, Sassy.

bringbacktheshred 09-17-2005 08:01 PM

ESP guitars are wonderful.

I own an LTD EX-50, and if that is anything to go by, then the rest of the range must be absolutley brilliant considering the EX-50 is made in Indonesia and is also the botttom of the barrel for ESP/LTD.

Plus, 200 metal guitarists and bassists can't be wrong... :)

1000's of them also play Ibanez, so you can't judge them by their endorsement. :)

ESP's always sounded good, by I was always attracted more to Jacksons. With a Jackson, you could by the cheapest one and still be getting a high-quality guitar.

Well, that's what i've got (the cheapest one) and i reckon that it sounds better than some guitars that are twice its price.

Shadows 09-17-2005 08:37 PM

My guitar was not cheap at all, and I'm sure it could keep up with guitars over $1000.

Silenius 09-17-2005 08:38 PM

Jacksons are definatley very high-quality for their prices.

What guitar do you own?

I definitely agree that Jacksons are an excellent value-for-money guitar, i just believe that (In my opinion) ESPs are better sounding. Mind you, my opinion is rather biased.

Shadows 09-17-2005 08:47 PM

I have a DKMG. I love it to death. The only thing I noticed that could've been better were the pickups it came with - everything else was absolutely top-notch.
