Where is the quote from A Fortune in Lies from?

shamed-angel 11-17-2005 10:49 AM

I have been on holiday and so haven't been on in a while. God I've missed this place!
Has anyone ever heard Fozzy? Or Chris Jericho sing? It sucks!

Indeed it does.

Cain 11-17-2005 10:57 AM

When I first heard the name, I thought they were an unimaginative Ozzy Osbourne tribute band.

Thats what I thought to.

Well, I dont think they are trying to be serious.

I think thats obvious, unless he has a really big ego.

Hey...videos...
When I first heard the name, I thought they were an unimaginative Ozzy Osbourne tribute band.
Well they were supposed to be something like that. I heard their original name was supposed to be Fozzy Osbourne, at least thats what I heard from a friend, true or not, still stupid.
Has anyone ever heard Fozzy? Or Chris Jericho sing? It sucks!
When I first heard Fozzy and "To Kill a Stranger" I didn't think his vocals were to bad, it reminded me a lot of early 80's hair metal or something like that. Their music is alright, but nothing I would buy.

scenesfromatheater 11-18-2005 07:29 AM

Fozzy were alright at download. Better than some of the awful bands like My Chemical Romance and Funeral for a Friend (not that I was watching them instead of Slayer)

IbanezSamurai 11-18-2005 04:09 PM

I've heard that there was supposed to be a Scenes From a Memory play in the production.
I've heard that there was supposed to be a Scenes From a Memory play in the production.
Haha, I remember asking that in this thread a few months back.

I think there was only one show of it in New York or something like that. I'm not sure though, I don't remember much...

Yes, yes there is. Its a 1 or 2 night event. I think it may be over already though.

scenesfromatheater 11-18-2005 04:14 PM

I also heard it wasn't that good...but I probably just dreamt someone telling me that...

I kind of doubt it was any good, SFAM just doesn't seem like good play material...

Wow, I just realised that GenuineImitation's avatar is the cover of Powerslave...

What did you think it was?

I did not hear if the play was good or not, but it was created and produced by your average joe. I don't think the guy has any theater experience, so I doubt it was great.

barney 11-18-2005 04:19 PM

What's up guys? LaBrie's voice makes me orgasm.

Labrie on Innocence Faded at 2:22 = Incredible (as I have said many a time before)

they should be touring around that area. i cant wait for the concert, they r like legends

ghettoeddo 11-20-2005 12:17 AM

i need a general opinion on DT's best live CD.
i've got budokan

ZERONEZERO 11-20-2005 12:34 AM

I would say Budokan is the best.

I've seen Images and Words, 5 years in a lifetime, and LSFNY, and i would say that Budokan is the best. It has the best camera quality of any of the CDs, and the bonus feature IMO are better than any of the other cds.

I'd say Live Scenes, no problem. The third Cd is their 3 clasic songs. Buy it. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

He's talking about CD's. You're talking DVD's.

its definately not Once in a Livetime. Labrie sounds aweful on it. especially on Take the Time.

probably LSFNY is their best, but Live at the Marquee is also good, even though it is only 1 disk

That makes me want to get it for some strange reason.
