wow, i have 7 sabbath albums on my computer - TYR, sabbath bloody sabbath, paranoid, master of reality, headless cross, dehumaniser, best of black sabbath.

I have 18 Sabbath albums on my computer...

lol, i only own 3 of them though...Dehumaniser, Paranoid and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Dehumaniser's probably my favourite though. i borrowed the rest from Titch (Shadow_Stalker)

i belive its tuned down to C# (for the low E) and the rest conincide with that

haha well i have a few bootlegs so im a cheater hehe, i think i have 26 overall. The rarest being "heaven and god" with Halford in 92 :)

I have a few tracks from the '92 Costa Mesa shows, they're pretty good.

I think my fav. bootleg is a 16min version of Sabbra Cadabra, its brilliant.

On a sabbath related note I found a site that sells live CD and DVD bootlegs for about $15 (I dont know if aussie or american). I was thinking of getting a whole show from the Born Again tour. Do you reckon it would be worth it?

I'd be iffy on bootleg live albums like that, i have several and some are wonderful quality that sound as good as any other live album, but there are some that you are like "well, its cool but..." I havent heard anything live from that tour, so i cant say. Always worth checking out though, whats $15? hehe

Born Again is alot better than people make it out to be. All the jokes, Deep Sabbath and Black Purple, it was a wonderful combination! Trashed, Keep It Warm, and Digital Bitch are some killer tracks and i think Ian and Tony espically had some great chemistry together. I dont see why any diehard Sabbath fan wouldnt enjoy it.

Could you tell me what Seventh Star is like and what kind of music is on it? I was thinking about getting it the other day but ended up getting a Metallica album instead.

Honestly...along with Forbidden it is Sabbath's weakest album. Iommi wanted it to be his first solo cd, thus the name Seventh Star staring Toni Iommi, but the record company thought to put the Sabbath name on it so it would sell better. Really weak songs, at least on Forbidden "Rusty Angels" is one of the best Sabbath songs ever penned. Id get Born Again over both anyday.

god **** great cd! I bought that in 7th grade in like 1997 haha, played the living hell out of it.

RTL was the first Metallica cd I got, its still my favourite album by them, I can play most of it on bass.

If I remember right I got it for a mere £7 at the Ozzfest in 2002 :)

Sabbath is the greatest heavy metal band ever!--Without them nobody would downtune and they have been a huge influence on about every hardrock band of the last 25 years--All their albums are good cuz i have all of them even with out Ozzy--I highly recomend--Sabbath Bloody Sabbath--Heaven and Hell--Black Sabbath--Master of Reality

The Non-Ozzy albums are just as good, Toni had the bands sound more polised with the other vocalists though. The Tony Martin years are so overlooked by people.

Yes I know, the TYR album is way too underrated, of course it's the only Martin one I own but I'm assuming there all underrated. And as for Metallica it's my third (I already have the Black Album and Justice for All) but this is my favourite, something great about the whole thing (escape is a bit weak though). I wish I had discovered the music I listen to now in 7th Grade, it took me until the 10th.

TYR is one of my fav. Black Sabbath albums. Its kinda power-metal-ish which fits perfectly with what I'm into these days.

I'd rate it as the best from the Martin years.

I guess i'll have to pick it up.

I picked it up then put it down then picked it up again before finally buying it.

I suck at choosing what albums to buy when I have money :(
