Woodstock 09-01-2004 06:16 PM

Read the four posts above me.

Badmoon 09-01-2004 06:17 PM

I post too much, but it makes up for my old account where I rarely posted.

Woodstock 09-01-2004 06:19 PM

What was your old account?

Badmoon 09-01-2004 06:25 PM

Moon349 from May 2003

themightyquinn23 09-01-2004 06:27 PM

Now, discuss The Police.

Woodstock 09-01-2004 06:28 PM

In the long, long ago.

Kinda wierd that you joined on Christmas though.

Oh, sorry.

Against Miik! 09-01-2004 06:36 PM

The Police...? How about nooo.

Paranoidd 09-01-2004 06:37 PM

Whats wrong with the police?

They were good musicians and made some great music.

Against Miik! 09-01-2004 06:40 PM

Not my thing.

Woodstock 09-01-2004 06:45 PM

Same here.

magicbus 09-01-2004 07:05 PM

Whatup. I'm back. Not much new in the classic rock area except today's Hendrix Jam sounded exceptionally good.

BludgeonySteve 09-01-2004 07:06 PM

What's this about a Hendrix Jam? I thought he was dead. If not, w00000000000000t!

Woodstock 09-01-2004 07:11 PM

Yes, do tell...

Against Miik! 09-01-2004 07:24 PM

I've started not minding rap lately. I mean, I still love classic rock, but pop and rap don't really bother me anymore. Good or bad thing?

BludgeonySteve 09-01-2004 07:25 PM

Is this the material gangSTArz rap or the good ol' school stuff?

Woodstock 09-01-2004 07:26 PM

I'll get the holy water. Rock not Roll, star reading at Psalm 41 and dont stop until I tell you to!!

Against Miik! 09-01-2004 07:28 PM

Well, the stuff i'm mostly gettin into is like underground rap where they just freestyle. But honestly, I don't mind the gangsta stuff my friends listen to. I mean, none of my musical love is leaving classic rock, it's just that I think i'm a bit more open to other things now.

Badmoon 09-01-2004 07:35 PM

I just downloaded a Stephen Stills and Jimi Hendrix jam.

P.s. Jimi actually wanted Stills to play bass for him in The Expierience.

Miik, you just gained +5 respect points. :chug:

pyromaniacfool 09-01-2004 08:09 PM

I just dug up a bunch of my dads old records and found some great **** like Blind Faith, The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, and its really opened my mind to classic rock

milk, its fine to like rap, and you shouldnt let the R&M forum decide for you. Make your own decisions.

Creedence Clearwater 09-01-2004 08:26 PM

The Gratful Dead are an awesome band IMO

magicbus 09-01-2004 08:29 PM

Like as soon as I woke up as wasn't in touch with the world yet, I pulled out the guitar and played with Hendrix music. As in Hendrix Jam. It sounded really good today.

EDIT: A few rappers I enjoy are Kanye West, Talib Kweli, and The Roots are good too. But that's only because they have talent. They don't just throw words together. Its complicated.

That's about it though. I don't listen to much rap, and its usually only in my car anyways.

BillCosby 09-01-2004 08:32 PM
you shouldnt let the R&M forum decide for you. .
Nobody should, ever. R&M is the most closeminded, n00b infested forum.

Lithium2112 09-01-2004 09:35 PM

i hate rap... thats it, get the knack!
