:lol: If i had a horse i would name it Captain Oats too! I watched the first season like i was glued to the Tv. Didn't see all of the second season but my sister kept me updated when i missed it. There's a local Irish channel that shows the newest episodes available in Europe so i get to see it before most people :) They'll probably shoot Captain Oats as the next season finale...

I'm thinking about doing another Top 50 Punk users soon, except I'll do it different then last time. Instead of making people order their lists, just do a straight whoever get's the most votes wins. Sound like a good idea, anyone have better suggestions?

Ties would suck, yes. But doing the 25-1 math is a lot more time consuming and gives more room for human error. Polls is an option, but that would be a whole lot polls.

I still prefer ordered lists. It's not that hard to work out.

Polls wouldnt make sense seeing as we have so many members and we could forget alot.
I like voteing games, but I hate choosing. And i thought it was pretty cool to see some punks get votes for the Top Mxers in the pit. Yesss i got like 200 and something Placce.

the problem with ordered lists last time was idiots not realising to put them in order.

I just tired to think up a poll way and it turned out f'ucked.

Maybe 2 points for your top 5 or something and one point for everyone else?

Nick, if you are thinking about polls, what you could do is open a sticky thread and get people to post in it to say that they want to be voted on the top 50, then openm polls for it, then work off that the top 50 from the amount of votes that a person gets. If there are any tie-breaks you could open another poll for the tie-breaks.

I think I got a way that will work.

People do ordered lists, instead of going 25 to 1. I give 5 for 1-5, 4 for 6-10, etc all the way down the ten. That way ties are minimized, math is easy for me. If people don't do ordered lists, it won't count towards the final.
