Yo, I'm going CD hunting tomorrow. Decided I'd like some Rob Trujillo stuff, so what should I get? ST, or IG? And which album? :thumb: Failing that, I'll go with more Primus. Maybe I'll just buy both. But then there's Minor Threat to get too...

voiceless one 01-28-2005 04:29 PM

................It's never going to happen :(

I personally like Infectious grooves. Get De-loused in the comatorium from the Mars Volta.

voiceless one 01-28-2005 04:30 PM

Primus is good to get dude, Minor Thr4at ALWAYS rock so they are a good buy....AFI are also fantastically amazingly, suoibly, grandeously, unimaginably good too...........

;)

fatbandit 01-28-2005 04:35 PM

My band sounds a lot like Minor Threat, even though I'm not much into Hardcore, its gotta be bought. Plus, as a defining sXe album, its all good for me.

So Infectious Grooves? Any album suggestions?

voiceless one 01-28-2005 04:41 PM

I find Incubus' old stuff majorly infectious.

Mr. Jiggy Fly 01-28-2005 04:42 PM

Sarsippius' ARc is an excellent IG album.

Hey everybody, its been awhile.

*punk_rock_sophie* 01-28-2005 04:42 PM

whats everyone getting the other half for valentines day??

RJDBass 01-28-2005 04:45 PM

Giant stuffed bear

fatbandit 01-28-2005 04:45 PM

I don't have another half. Working on it though. And wouldn't I just be a good enough present on my own? :)

And Sarsippius' Arc? I'll try and remember that :thumb:
whats everyone getting the other half for valentines day??
Still no gf :upset:

cliffburtonrules 01-28-2005 04:47 PM

Im too un-attractive to have a second half. And not popular which, as most of you know, is everything in Jr. High.

RaVen_Bassist 01-28-2005 04:53 PM

I hadn't thought about it. I suppose dinner or something.

RJDBass 01-28-2005 04:56 PM

aahhhhh its hugo weaving

Dieforitall89 01-28-2005 04:57 PM

Hey guys.

RJDBass 01-28-2005 04:57 PM

Hey

cliffburtonrules 01-28-2005 04:59 PM

Haha......... Mechanix by Megadeth is just the Four Horsemen by Metallica with different lyrics and Dave's high pitched voice....... I suppose that's because Dave actually was the one that wrote that song with James and Lars.

cliffburtonrules 01-28-2005 05:02 PM

The Four Horsemen is better.

newbieX 01-28-2005 05:57 PM

Because of the people leaving MX, I'm making a list of people who cannot leave!

Heather: You better stay for a while, you make this forum better simply by posting in it.

Alex: You better never leave. I model most of my posts/mod decisions based on what you would do. My MX idol :D

Troy: You definently taught me the fun side of being a mod. Don't ever leave mate!

Luke RIP: Always stayed with the Bass Forum, most Regular regular I've ever seen. Come back soon.

Gav: The Spark Plug of the Bass Forums. Never a dull moment when he's on. Never leave.

Jaco: Another guy I've always looked up to. One of the most helpful guys on the forums for sure, you better stick around.

JPbass: Though you are fairly new, you've brought so much electrical/luthier/general bass knowledge to this forum that it's amazing. You better stick around and help us out.

Radiobass: One of the most humble people on here. He is one of the nicest guys in here and always has something good to say in your threads!

Quatre: Another great regular. Probably one of the funniest Bassers on here. Stick around to make us laugh :thumb:

Edge: You've helped me countless times with my gear problems. It wouldn't be the same without you, you are like the gear guru.

Too many people I've missed, RJDbass, Twopelu, Dunc, Jiggly, Havic, ect...

It wouldn't be the same without you.

Jamie 01-28-2005 07:12 PM

errrrm, hi guys. I popped back to mx to say hi. Its a friday night :thumb:

How is everyone? Ive missed talking to people!

the situation: Im doing my hardest to catch up on all my work and am going to talk to my parents about it. My plan is to set 2 hours a night (or more when needed) for schoolwork. I could be back soon... could not. We'll see.

Now I feel like such a d!ck, because you's are all going to call me an attention whore and stuff like that for leaving then coming back if i do... :upset:

note: I never said i was leaving for good, just until my schoolwork was sorted out. Just didnt know when it would be.

How is everyone?
