Well no of course you don't and I wouldn't expect you to, and it does amaze me too that people still believe in religion in western society. I was a lot more arrogant and lot less understanding and would freely call anyone with faith a moron, until I encountered my best friend at uni who's pretty much my intellectual superior and is a devout Christian. Through her I met a fair few devout Christians who weren't bumbling red necks.

She found god after her dad died and it made things better for her and her family, and I couldn't really argue against her.

to clarify I am not a militant atheist, i'm an agnostic leaning strongly towards atheism. I don't think that god DEFINITELY doesn't exist, but since I have seen nothing to support the idea that it is real, my educated guess would be that it's not. someone asserting that something is true has the burden of proof. there is no reason to assume something is true because you can't prove it isn't.

Sounds pretty good. I'm just chilling atm might go to bed soon had my last class of this academic year today, I have an assignment to hand in the beginning of April and then off for 3 weeks for Easter, then my exams start in mid-May and finish on the 27th of May (also the date of my first gig w/ band).

Stoked to have 4/5 months off.
