Just bought some new shoes (my old ones were 3 years old and got me wet feet every time I stepped into a puddle).

And I finally got around to buying [i]The Silmarillion[/i] and [i]The Children Of Húrin[/i].

Children of Hurin is pretty much an extended version of one of the chapters in the Silmarillion, it was a good read though. You could probably even skip the Of Turin Turambar chapter in the Silmarillion if you have it.
