i also checked out Knights of the Abyss and their new album Shades. i liked the deeper growls but the higher pitched vocals were ruining it for me. instrumentally it was ok

KotA is good, but they don't have an album with their actual singer doing vocals on it, so I dunno what to think!

Not horrible, but they are every stereotype for deathcore.

well they play the generic deathcore style better than most imo. for some reason they dont annoy me like most generic deathcore bands. maybe cuz the pig squeals only come up in 2 songs and the overall vocals are solid. no horrible high pitch or gargle screams

to each their own. theyre not amazing but def imo one of few generic sounding deathcore bands i can tolerate.

this genre is growing on me a bit because with all the crappy deathcore bands that just sound horrible, there are the few that do it good and i fully enjoy

They're both pretty good, aside from IDW's 56839875739 breakdowns, all of which could be equally awesome if they weren't 2 seconds apart, lol.

TtB are decent

Can't stand I Declare War's vocals. Otherwise, they (as a band) are ok.

O and The Last Felony is pretty meh.

They try too hard to sound like Burning the Masses. ****, even their Myspace page seems similar to Burning the Masses.
