Jesus was a zombie!
Haha. What is so cool about zombies?

chumpradio 04-16-2006 08:08 AM

I had a dream I was fighting zombies in a subway station the other day.
Best dream ever.
Haha. What is so cool about zombies?
They're f'ucking zombies! That's what's so cool about them.

Have you ever watched a zombie movie?

DepthsOfDreams555 04-16-2006 08:20 AM

Haha I've seen Dawn of the Dead. Thats it. And 28 Days Later but I don't think those are considered zombies...I dunno.

TakeWarning 04-16-2006 08:21 AM

I watched 28 Days Later once, man did it suck.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-16-2006 08:23 AM

Ya it did suck...
Haha I've seen Dawn of the Dead. Thats it. And 28 Days Later but I don't think those are considered zombies...I dunno.
The original Dawn is much better than the remake, though both are good. I'm assuming you saw the remake.
I watched 28 Days Later once, man did it suck.
I've never seen that one, but I heard that it was pretty bad.

Kif 04-16-2006 08:27 AM

Zach should watch Shaun Of The Dead

Gnarmageddon 04-16-2006 08:30 AM

Yeah. Or Dead and Breakfast.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-16-2006 08:32 AM

Yes I saw the remake and I want to see that movie Kif. Maybe I'll get it sometime soon and watch it. Isn't it like a spoof off Dawn of the Dead?

Kif 04-16-2006 08:32 AM

And Braindead. And Stacy if you can find it.

Zach: Pretty much. It's really funny and pretty gory as well

Gnarmageddon 04-16-2006 08:34 AM

I haven't seen Braindead, but I want to.

I have Stacy - Attack of the Schoolgirl zombies on my computer. :D Undead too, even though it sucked horribly.

Shaun of the Dead wasn't very gory.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-16-2006 08:36 AM

Dawn of the Dead wasn't that gory either....kind of. Hostel unrated DVD comes out this Tuesday. Now THAT is a gory movie. I'm picking it up.

SOTD was pretty gory I thought. When that guy got ripped apart ala Day Of The Dead, plus the makeup for the zombies is pretty cool.

I need to see more zombie movies

/me goes to moviesmademe.com to check

I heard Hostel sucked. Hard. It sounds like the kind of movie that uses violence for the sake of violence, which doesn't appeal to me too much.

Doesn't Wolf Creek Unrated come out Tuesday in Americaland as well? Might have to get that

Eh, that was pretty much the only good part.

Check out Zombi 2. It's old and pretty cheezy but I liked it a lot. (Scene with topless chick + shark + zombie = :thumb:) Day of the Dead was good too, even though it didn't have much action.

Now that I think about it, I really want to see Braindead. I need to look for it somewhere.

Yes Wolf Creek comes out too. I thought Wolf Creek was worse than Hostel. That is exactly what Hostel is and it wasn't that great of a movie. But see I enjoy that kind of a movie haha. I didn't think Hostel was amazing, but I would definetly watch it more than once. It has a ton of nudity in it too, and I'm not saying that as a plus. It was stupid, the first half of the movie was like boobs everywhere.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 04-16-2006 09:03 AM

Oh my god. I understand this thread title, and I understand all the zombie talk going on.

I love zombie movies. Nothing beats them.

The original Dawn of the Dead was better than the new one, but the new one had the zombie baby, which was awesome.

28 Days Later was terrible movie-wise, but I really really liked the way it was shot. The angles, the film, the overall feel of the movie I thought was good.

Special Brew 04-16-2006 09:03 AM

I've never posted in the pop-punk community thread before.

I hated the way it was shot. It was awful, it was hard to follow and annoying.
I hated the way it was shot. It was awful, it was hard to follow and annoying.
You've gotta be kidding. Unique angles, moving camera during action sequences, shaded scenes.

It was good. Alot of things, like the final big fight in that building, the way it was shot added to the intensity ten fold.

DepthsOfDreams555 04-16-2006 09:20 AM

Nope I'm not kidding. I understand what it was doing, I didn't like it. haha

Welcome, Jack. (And Damian)

If you want a good zombie baby, check out Zombie 3.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 04-16-2006 09:45 AM

Yeah man, I can not find those movies anywhere. You're going to have to mail them to me, or upload them on your computer for me or something. I've check Best Buy, Circuit City, and a few places on the web.

Gnarmageddon 04-16-2006 09:50 AM

I found mine at Best Buy. And I can't rip DVDs. :(

They're pretty bad anyway. Zombie 3 is only good by comparison to the others in the set, but all of them are terrible.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 04-16-2006 09:53 AM

Terrible good, or terrible terrible?

I liked the way it was shot, because to me it felt very fast-paced. I dunno, it just reminds me of Spaced, since that had some unique direction.

Shame they ruined the plot though. It had an interesting start, but there was never enough drama to keep me that entertained. Plus the character change of the main guy near the end is so unbelievable.

Dead Star 04-16-2006 10:46 AM

I like Shaun Of The Dead.

It's OK, I liked that film too :)

I'm such a wimp when it comes to scary/zombie films. It just makes me think they're out to get me.

Does anyone have Emocapella's first album? I've been trying to download it but it's not on Kazaa. Cheers :thumb:

Kif 04-16-2006 11:16 AM

Emocapella only had one album, called I'm Sorry. I used to have it on my old computer, but I haven't got it on my Mactop

poprocks&coke 04-16-2006 11:26 AM

They've got a new one coming out soon apparently.

DaveIsWrong 04-16-2006 11:37 AM

I got Emocapella's "I'm sorry" and I can upload it for the mailing list if you're on that. Then more people can get a hold of it, too.

Meh... I've done this before, but never achieved anything in the past. This is the first time things have ever really come together.
