From what I've heard, I think I prefer Galloglass to Falconer. Falconer vocals are kinda weird. Only listened to like 3 of the songs from the cd I have though. Oh well, I havn't listened to both that much...

Yeah, but it's a different vocalist on Sceptre Of Deception. A superior one in my opinion.

Hey has anyone heard of this band Icewind? Power metal band from Montreal. Shock shock. I'd like more of their songs, but can't find any, exept for the few on Myspace. So, if anyone could send a sampler, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Both of Falconer's vocalists are excellent, but I just prefer Gobel over Blad.

Galloglass ftw. Just wish their DVD had subtitles on it so I could understand the making of part.

Is not having any love for Sabaton possible ? Into the Fire has such an awsome chorus, as well as a cool riff. Well, the whole album does....great stuff !

It does have subtitles, but you have to turn them on manually

If anyone cares, REVIVER has lost the lead singer Patrick von Maurik, and bassist Stefan Brederode. They decided it was too difficult to continue recording with the distance between the bandmembers and the birth of Patrick's new baby. It just couldn't work :(

Reviver has added Pieter Bas Borger from past Reviver demos and "Black Knight" into the lineup to replace the missing members.

Patrick and Stefan have rejoined Montany and they shall begin working on a new album soon!

I love both bands and hope both grow to be some of the best power metal out there. Montany has definitely released one of the best albums I own, [i]New Born Day[/i]. I love Patrick's voice. takes some getting used to, but his accent makes the music, not breaks it.

And WHO is Reviver? :p

Maybe that's why I don't care...

I checked out Reviver's website and they sound pretty good. They only have one album and it was produced by Piet Sielck (Guitarist/Singer of Iron Savior and Producer of lots of great power metal).

I thought they broke up in the 80s. I have 'Into Battle' on vinyl from back in 1984... it's pretty dated but it's good

Reviver and Brocas Helm both sound great.

SF, you need to go to the setup on the main menu of the DVD. Then select ON where it says "Subtitles".

They had an awful translator though.

They did a live album and also a new album in 2004.

On that topic, I saw Skid Row last night supporting Guns and Roses...they were excellent.

Is their first album as good as Primo Victoria ?

First for Fight is supposed to be a compilation of their demo material, not a real full length album. Still, I think it's better than Primo Victoria :)
