I wish i played Sitar

Badmoon 09-12-2004 06:08 PM
Ok whatever that means???

The chances of me playing less than 6 months, are less than the chances of me playing more than 6 months. Got that? Good.

Badmoon 09-12-2004 06:09 PM

I play slide pretty good. That is what I spend half my time doing.

Creedence Clearwater 09-12-2004 06:09 PM
I wish i played Sitar
Is that that Indian instrument

themightyquinn23 09-12-2004 06:11 PM

Who plays piano? I'm going to start within the month hopefully.

Paranoidd 09-12-2004 06:18 PM

I can play a little piano. My dad was a great player, his band cut a record in the 70's (obviously it never took off though). I have a baby grand but don't play it often.

Broken Arrow 09-12-2004 06:20 PM
Is that that Indian instrument
thickasabrick 09-12-2004 06:21 PM

ZEROthirtythree 09-12-2004 06:22 PM

Broken Arrow 09-12-2004 06:23 PM

Paranoidd 09-12-2004 06:23 PM

MalcolmYoungRock 09-12-2004 06:25 PM

Broken Arrow 09-12-2004 06:25 PM
Er...played... :(
Badmoon 09-12-2004 06:31 PM

I'm 100% sure it was Pete.

Broken Arrow 09-12-2004 06:32 PM

I was thinking of Roger Because of that Elton John thing

magicbus 09-12-2004 07:02 PM
Hopefully you play a classic rock video game
I played Klassic Kombat. I kicked Jeff Healy's ass with Steve Howe. But he's blind so it was ok.

As to learning entire albums, I've always wanted to do a cover of an entire album. Right now I can play all but 3 tracks on dark side of the moon, and 4 outta 5 of Wish You Were Here. But I really want to do Close To The Edge the most.

themightyquinn23 09-12-2004 07:04 PM
I'm 100% sure it was Pete.
Yup. It was Pete alright. John Entwistle and Keith Moon are dead, and I know it wasn't Roger.

magicbus 09-12-2004 07:05 PM
Who plays piano? I'm going to start within the month hopefully.
Oh man I'm all excited now! I went to my friends house yesterday and he had his keyboard out. So I started playing, never have before in my life, and I could actually play coherent chords and progressions. I played Iron Man and Smoke on the Water, for instance. Nothing too hard, but I was shocked. Especially since I have a piano in my basement and have never attempted to play before. I always thought it was too hard. But I guess my theory experience from guitar helped with the piano. Now I just have to learn what fingers do what key, and I should be set. :thumb:

Cool. I gotta say, Imagine is my main influence for playing piano.

jpj 09-12-2004 07:13 PM

i can play all of those except ramble on on bass

Badmoon 09-12-2004 07:16 PM

I'm actually going to try to learn the first Grateful Dead album. It will be next to impossible to find those tabs, but the songs aren't half as hard compared to their other stuff. It's all more Beatles like Rock n Roll, mixed with a little Psychedelia. So, obvoiusly it's more simplistic.

Against Miik! 09-12-2004 07:19 PM

I can play all of Zeppelin II with the exception of a few fills and solo parts here and there.

Badmoon 09-12-2004 07:25 PM

So, how's "Me and My Uncle", that is if the first time you heard it is when I reccomended it. That's my favorite live Dead* song.

* = Oxymoron

Against Miik! 09-12-2004 07:29 PM

That was the first time. I was able to find a few live versions of it, so I randomly chose the one at Fillmore East. I decided to put it on my CD. I've never really got into The Greatful Dead, but it's a great song. I mite look into them a bit further.

Supertramp is seriously under talked about. I started a thread in here about them once I think I got a whole 0 replies.

Badmoon 09-12-2004 07:42 PM

Does anyone think that Ginger Baker looks healthy now then he did in the 60's? Google up some pictures and check for yourself.

Against Miik! 09-12-2004 07:44 PM

Mortal Sin or Difference of Opinion: I just saw someone say Alter Bridge, Creed, and 12 Stones are all better than CCR. WTF?
