Well, they steal all their vocabularly anyway don't they?

First time I heard it was CJ saying "Yeah, I got my swoll on" in GTA San Andreas.

Jaded 08-02-2009 11:42 PM

yeah now that i think of it pretty much all bro/meathead slang is ripped off black slang

funkyhoney 08-02-2009 11:51 PM

I love local slang.

gaslight 08-02-2009 11:52 PM

Willickers.
from a philosophical interpersonal standpoint I guess but not in the religious sense. like i believe that the second half of the bible can be an invaluable resource of collected wisdom in regards to human relationships and in most cases moral decisions, but I'm not concerned with all the metaphysics, none of that really matters imo.

nooooo, it's not a black word, at least not around here. it's a meathead/jock/"bro" word, often used by guineas or guidos
yeah tons of valuable moral lessons in the new testament

like lying, being homophobic, and an accessory to genocide

I love how my prime minister is against gay marriage and happens to be religious.

There was a ripping quote the other week by some politician I forget around here. "A marriage is a union between a man and a woman and always will be; however we should not discriminate against same sex couples."

Epidemechanical 08-03-2009 12:27 AM

jesus christ was a liar and just as terrible as the psychopathic killer god of the old testament

also jesus told us we must still follow the laws of the OT and that he was not here to erase them and quoting him exactly "the scripture cannot be broken" its in the book of matthew

funkyhoney 08-03-2009 12:33 AM

I wouldn't know, I refuse to read a crappy oversized novel.

gaslight 08-03-2009 12:48 AM

Don't bother with the Bible, just watch a John Wayne movie, he'll show you how to live.

I'd believe that about his real life counter part. He had some great quotes.

"Courage isn't never being scared, it's being scared to death and saddling up anyway."

Yeah but you just think everything is pop rock. What do you even listen to.

gaslight 08-03-2009 08:37 AM

Bunyip attack.

funkyhoney 08-03-2009 08:53 AM

Oh ****, I hate bunyips.

gaslight 08-03-2009 08:56 AM

****ing racist

funkyhoney 08-03-2009 08:57 AM

Xenophobic.

FunkMetalBass 08-03-2009 09:05 AM

Homophobia?

gaslight 08-03-2009 09:05 AM

Ever met someone who claims to have seen a bunyip?

funkyhoney 08-03-2009 09:07 AM

No, but I've met people who claim to have seen some strange things.

Me, homophobic, that's a laugh.

FunkMetalBass 08-03-2009 09:09 AM

I didn't know I was implying that you were homophobic.

Given that you live in Australia, which has more polyandrous and lesbian relationships per capita than any other country, I presumed you were fairly accepting of the gay community.

gaslight 08-03-2009 09:12 AM

What strange things Funky?

Dunno what you're on about with the polyandry, you're only allowed one husband at a time in this neck of the woods.

Yes, but I never expressly stated that marriage was involved.

gaslight 08-03-2009 09:19 AM

Polyandry refers to marriage by definition.

Hanging out for some Twilight Zone stuff from Funky.

FunkMetalBass 08-03-2009 09:27 AM

Okay, but since there isn't a word used to describe multiple male partners outside of marriage, I'll have to use the second definition of it, which really applies only to animals, meaning plural male mates.

Damn you, Gaslight, and your technicalities.

I was going to send you my 6-string Aria because I figured you'd appreciate it and might actually play it. Now, you can forget it.

Spaceman Spiff 08-03-2009 09:34 AM

I'm seeing Tool live on Wednesday. Should be awesome.

gaslight 08-03-2009 09:35 AM

Haha .

You know I'm a four string man you big girl :p.

Awesome Spiff have a good time mate.

You should throw Justin a pick and see if he uses it.
