emo/emocore guitar techniques
hey i got a question!! I couldn't open a new threat because I did not have permission to access this page and consequently i will write it down here. So, I would like to know what special guitar techniques are used in emo/emocore or do they have a certain scheme or something like this? What are the differences to a punk guitar? Can you show me any examples?
If there is a threat with the same question I'm sorry but i didn't found one. thanks for the help... greetz from germany |
Sep- if you want Cryonics on CD, I'll send it to you for a couple bucks + shipping
I'd buy it if I didn't live in Oman. The postal service here is too unreliable.
I'd buy it off you next time I go to Holland, though. |

Ha Ha Ha. Not funny.
Drivingnaked- Mostly octave chords (like 7x9, but just try using more strings, even all six. As long as it sounds good) |

Emo Sucks Mega ****!
^^ I doubt you even know what emo is.
the new Iwasmoffy songs are amazing.
I was about to make a thread about the new songs. They are great.
yeah they are awesome. they also seem to have taken a lot of CTTS influence.
I thought the same exact thing.
yes its very apparent. the dual female vocals, and the lyrics are similar too.
Have they changed that much? I should really start listening to them again. Last time I listened to them was 1+ year ago.
its not a huge change, but its a change. the vocals are more audible too.
"Interview At The Ruins" is so depressing.
its a great song. non objective portrait of karma is more depressing though.
You guys NEED to hear Rolo Tomassi. Screamo/spazz band all about 16 cept the singer who is apparently a 15 year old girl. awesome awesome awesome. Yet also the most depressing thing ever. Theyve got some tracks up here, but they are a bit too short compared to their other stuff.

Nah. The part with the choir and the "maybe I put to much faith" part are so fucking good though. "In The Nervous Light Of Sunday" is depressing too, the "wade in the water" and "let the flood swell" parts. |
all their songs are depressing. kill the switch is epic.
Rolo Tomassi sucks. They do the most token "atonal" stuff I've ever heard.
The myspace songs dont do em justice. On their latest demo they have loads of keyboard, clean vocals and all kinds of other stuff going on. |
I lost internet.

You mean Same Shade As Concrete. But yeah- I think that and IATR are the best tracks. |
