I got yet another fantastic Cecil Taylor album, this one entitled [I] Nefertiti, the Beautiful One Has Come[/I]. Intensely good.

Pilotdrift has been playing non stop.

I just downloaded a 1966 release entitled [I]Black Monk Time[/I] by garage rock band The Monks. It's one of the coolest rock albums I've gotten in a long time. Imagine an even [I]more[/I] primitive version of The Stooges with organ, and you have a very rough idea of what they're like.

I am also digging Ted Leo. I've had this album of his for the longest time and I'm only really getting into it now. I kick myself.

Yeah, I seem to be pretty late on the uptake with these guys. Of course, I've never been that big on 60s rock after all.
