I feel better, actually, I came to a conclusion that everyone else can go and **** themselves and I rule at everything.

Sometimes its best to think like that, no matter how selfish it can be.

:P

Lord Abortion 09-11-2006 01:00 PM

It's about time I was damn selfish about some things.
I'm gona start watching prison break tonight, Apparently it's awsome, and I have aquired the first season off a friend :P
I thought it was pretty good. :thumb:

I love the CSI's though on a tuesday.

Lord Abortion 09-11-2006 01:34 PM
OR slayer. OR anthrax.
Anthrax only have Among the mliving and Spreading the Disease, Slayer, much as I love them, stopped being great after Seasons in the Abyss.
Any albums since then have been pretty poor.

Squirrel 09-11-2006 01:45 PM

Slayer and Anthrax never held my attention.

Dark Angel and Testament however ... hehehehe.

2muchket! 09-11-2006 01:47 PM

I would've mentioned Metallica but you know there are only two decent albums post cliff burton. The stuff when he was alive tho' was amazing.

GurS 09-11-2006 01:50 PM

meh, he wasn't that great, IMO

So, in an effort to stave off boredom, I've organised a weekly badmington game with my friend. Getting off me backside++

2muchket! 09-11-2006 01:53 PM

I only rate Steve Harris higher than him in terms of metal bass playing.

As for badmington used to love playing that. Don't play much anymore. Wish I played snooker again too.

That's because 'arry is God

GurS 09-11-2006 02:01 PM

Burton just tried to play guitar on bass, if you get what I mean.

2muchket! 09-11-2006 02:01 PM

tr00f. Although they did rate harris 18th and Burton 15th in Bass Guitar Magazine. They did a 'best bassist's of all time' feature. Jaco Pastorius came first of course.

I get what your saying Gur but if that was true he would've used a pick wouldn't he ?

Some of his lines and especially live (he'll throw in some grooves) were excellent. And at least he just didn't play root notes.

Lord Abortion 09-11-2006 02:02 PM

Hahaha, I just realised that bass has the word "ass" in it

Awesome.

Msybe you'd be happier if you weren't so antipathic to karma maybe

GurS 09-11-2006 02:11 PM

If karma didn't work/exist, then Earl's wasting a hell of a lot of time

2muchket! 09-11-2006 02:11 PM

/one handed clap at LA

In a megadeth mood ATM

Np - Peace Sells - Megadeth

GurS 09-11-2006 02:13 PM

That's the best song by them, IMO.

FREAKY THING:

What's the name of the drummer on the "Peace Sells" album?

GAR SAMUELSON

FREAKINESSNESS!

Lord Abortion 09-11-2006 02:14 PM

Oh great, I got the Clap...

2muchket! 09-11-2006 02:15 PM

Duh. I forgot who played bass on that album but I'm sure it was the same bloke on Rust In Peace. Either way I rate Holy Wars > Peace sells > Kill The King as my fav Megadeth songs.

And hilariously enough

NP- Holy Wars......Punishment due - Megadeth.

The instrumental piece by "Yes", as featured on their album, shockingly titled "The Yes Album"?
