I was eating chips, until I realized that I'm not supposed to be eating them...because their my sisters. Normally I'd have kept eating them, but I've eaten the last 5 bags of chips she's bought
You dont seem to be thinking your clearest tonight.

So I love the game of madden.

Mute Print 12-16-2005 08:20 PM
You should get Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild and Volume 1. Both are sweet. I'll send them to you if you want.
If you don't mind, that'd be great. :)

Surtr 12-16-2005 08:23 PM

Someday you will find me,
Caught beneath the landslide,
In a champaigne supernova,
A champaigne supernova in the sky..

:)

Gnarmageddon 12-16-2005 08:24 PM

Man, I haven't listened to that song in so long.

That intire album is amazing. I used to hate Oasis, but now I'm all like.. :D

Mute Print 12-16-2005 08:28 PM

I don't like Oasis. They don't do much for me.

NP: Ignite - A Place Called Home

Surtr 12-16-2005 08:31 PM

Your daddy works in porno,
Now that mommy's not around,
She used to love her heroine,
But now she's underground,
So you stay out late at night,
And you do your coke for free,
Drivin' your friends crazy,
With your life's insanity..

Well Well Well,
You Just Can't Tell,
Well Well Well,
My Michelle..

Yeah, I'm done with my lyrics posting :)

EDIT: I love the way it takes P0rno and turns it into 'Animal Photographso'

B 12-16-2005 08:31 PM

I went to school today for one period and left. My friend's math class only had one person in it :-\

Basically everyone skipped the rest of the day.

Mute Print 12-16-2005 08:32 PM

We had a band/orchestra/chorus concert during school today. I definitely should have skipped it.

cobert 12-16-2005 08:35 PM

Next album i will buy (because apparently, its sold at tower record stores, even though theres not one too close by me): Funeral Diner or Yaphet Kotto.

Mute Print 12-16-2005 08:37 PM

<3 Funeral Diner. I wrote an article about them for one of my "Expanding Your Tastes" threads a little while back.

I haven't heard any Yaphet Kotto, but I'd like to.

B 12-16-2005 08:40 PM

NP: TSL - Say It Like You Mean It

Awesome pop-punk band.

cobert 12-16-2005 08:40 PM
We had a band/orchestra/chorus concert during school today. I definitely should have skipped it.
So did we.

I think every kid in the world skipped school today, by the looks of the last few pages on here.

Gnarmageddon 12-16-2005 08:42 PM

I didn't. :upset:

But I had a 2 hour delay. So that was cool.

And I'm addicted to Tetris too.

cobert 12-16-2005 08:42 PM
<3 Funeral Diner. I wrote an article about them for one of my "Expanding Your Tastes" threads a little while back.
Yeah, i remember that.

B 12-16-2005 08:43 PM

Tetris rules. I spent like 5 bucks on arcade games tonight.

cobert 12-16-2005 08:46 PM

Everyone has been addicted to tetris at one point or another. If i had the option of playing it, i think i would. My grandma has it up her house on the original NES, its awesome.

B-RAN: how would you describe funeral diner?

Gnarmageddon 12-16-2005 08:46 PM

I wish I had a Street Fighter or Time Crisis machine. That would own.

B 12-16-2005 08:48 PM

I played Time Crisis tonight.

Mute Print 12-16-2005 08:49 PM
B-RAN: how would you describe funeral diner?
Hmm, here's the description from my article:
For those of you who have been complaining that my recommendations are too close to pop-punk (Jon), this should be more like what you're looking for. Funeral Diner is an awesome band that in no way resembles pop-punk.

They're songs tend to be very fast paced, and chaotic. If you are not used to listening to screamo, Funeral Diner will be a very new experience for you. Their screams are very intense, and fit well with the spastic nature of the music. The lyrics (although very difficult to make out) are quite powerful, and add another layer of depth to an already amazing band.
I'm not great at descibing bands, but that should give you a rough idea.

cobert 12-16-2005 08:50 PM

Street fighter is ghey.

Time crisis owns.

Surtr 12-16-2005 08:51 PM

You people and your video games.. I hate kids these days, they're all punk and think that they're fightning the system..stupid video games..You know! When I was a kid we didn't need punk to fight the system! We had rock in our hearts! and a guitar in our hands! I LISTENED TO ZEPPELIN BEFORE IT WAS COOL!!

/Uh huh

cobert 12-16-2005 08:54 PM
Hmm, here's the description from my article:

Good enough. Even thouh ive never heard any real screamo, i get a sense ofwhat it is, and i have heard some pretty chaotic music, so ill see how this compares.

Gnarmageddon 12-16-2005 08:56 PM

Cob: Psh. Street Fighter is sweet. My friend and I almost beat Time Crisis on a dollar each. We were towards the end of the 4th level I think.

Stew: Ha.

So my dad is letting me hang up a bunch of old record covers on my wall. I have The Beatles - Let It Be, Thin Lizzy - Bad Reputation, and Clapton - Backless, so far. He's looking for some more now.

Heh, I thought you were somewhat familiar with screamo. It isn't extremely chaotic or anything, but I was comparing it to pop-punk since I was trying to get pop-punkers into them.

I think you'll enjoy them though.

Screamo is actually one ofhte few genres ive yet to try out. I havent heard any of te new emo and screamo, only old, 80's, first wave emo.

Spence: every time i used to go up my cousins, we'd play all the way through this one power rangers game. It was awesome. Even after we grew out of the power rangers (which i still didnt, shhh), we'd still do it.

EDIT: im off for the night. Goodnight, fellow people-that-post-in-this-thread.

Gnarmageddon 12-16-2005 09:05 PM

I think I have a Power Rangers rom on my computer. I used to play that game all the time too. :p

Night.

Mute Print 12-16-2005 09:06 PM

I used to have a couple Power Rangers games for my SNES.

I'm going to go play some guitar, be back in a bit.

Night Cob.

Your Wall > Mine

My wall has..

3 Hockey Posters (I don't like hockey anymore, but too lazy to take 'em down)
A blink poster
A football (soccer) poster
and..Hmm..Thats it?

It's a pretty boring room if you look at the walls, which is why I prefer to keep the floor so dirty.

B 12-16-2005 09:07 PM

I have crazy limited edition first season Power Rangers stuff. It's probably worth a lot of money to the right person.

Night Cob.

Ha. My dad's given me some other stuff too. Right now I have:

Bulletin board with a bunch of band pictures/pins/flyers and stuff
Old school concert posters for Bowie, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Who
American family tree of rock
British family tree of rock
Autographed Tiger Army poster
And soon to be those album covers

All of those are only one one wall. I need to go out and buy some big posters to put on my one blank wall. I know of a few places that have some good ones.

B 12-16-2005 09:13 PM

So in my local Walmart flyer they're selling a weather forecasting machine.

Just a few grungy old used CD/record stores around here. They have some good posters and shirts and stuff. Plus a lot of hard to find stuff for fairly cheap. I should visit more often.
