You couldn't stop posting here

I got a new harmonica in E. It's really pretty.

I also got a kazoo so I could play Alligator :D
What key do you think I should get when I get my first harmonica? I'll probably get one for Christmas or something.

NP: Bob Dylan - Ballad Of A Thin Man

I'm pretty much completely lost as to what's going on now. I read back last page and still don't understand what the fuck is happening. But I've been confused all day. I had the PSATs early in the morning, and just woke up from a nap, so I'm feeling really drowsy and lost. Example of how confused I've been: I went to my library to see if they had any cds, checked, and the only interesting things they had were Love and Theft by Dylan and Rolling Stones- Their Satanic Majesties Request. So I picked them up and went to check them out, but then I realized that I already own both of them. Yeah, I'm pretty fried right now, it's been a long day. So anyone want to try to explain what's going on here?

Thanks, that makes sense. Wish they'd come back though.

I have a G harmonica, but I don't think key really makes all that much difference. C and G seem to be the most popular.

If any of my posts don't really make sense, just ignore them, as I said earlier I'm pretty fried and confused.

You guys do realize that instead of buttons that say "reply", we have buttons that say "quote" now. They both do the same thing.

Check out this recent photo:

Nothing else has changed.

EDIT: Quick reply is back, and try editing your posts

This is nuts!

robo2448 10-15-2005 04:35 PM

The editing thing is cool. I don't know if I like the new layout yet though, it'll take some time to get used to. I only used quick reply once or twice before, then forgot about it. All this talk has reminded me of it, and I'm writing this in quick reply now.

Am I the only one who thinks Let It Be has the most amazing guitar solo? Its so simple and everything, but every time it kicks in it just blows me away.

Np: For the Longest Time - Billy Joel

Yea I love that solo. George's solos are always so short and simple but are so effective. I think he might be my favorite guitarist. If he's not my favorite, he's in the top 3 with Gilmour and Clapton.

George is the single most talented musician of all-time IMO. He plays 46 instruments, is a great songwriter, a great singer, and seems to get along well with everyone and was the most-connected musician ever.

thickasabrick 10-15-2005 04:51 PM

I don't think the Let It Be solo is any more special than most of the Beatles solos. It's still a good solo though.

This new colour scheme is so ugly...

Me and my friend decided to check out this Traditional Chinese Herb shop thats downtown...it was pretty awesome. They had a whole bunch of different teas, some were just regular green teas that are important friend China, Japan and other such countries, but some were said to cure certain things. They had one that was supposed to improve memory, I think I might have to try it sometime.

Anyone in here ever listen to Porcupine Tree? I heard a few of their songs played at this store that I buy my shirts/albums/incense etc from and they were amazing. I definitely want some of their albums.

magicbus 10-15-2005 04:52 PM

While Clapton might be my favorite guitarist, Harrison definently tops my list for favorite musician in general. He's awesome, and he wrote great songs.

Broken Arrow 10-15-2005 04:53 PM

I do, abit.

I dont own any of there albums but I have In Absentia on my computer and some random other songs on my iPod.

EDIT-Porcupine Tree that is.

I think Hendrix is my favourite guitarist.

thickasabrick 10-15-2005 05:18 PM

Gilmour and Hendrix are my favourite guitarists, Bob Dylan is my favourite all around musician/songwriter.

Krabsworth 10-15-2005 05:24 PM

Okay, I promise I will not leave now that my reply box is here :D

thickasabrick 10-15-2005 05:27 PM

I'm listening to Dream Theaters version of Hey You....the vocals are a little weaker than Waters are, but I really like it.

Yeah, I like the sound they use for the synth.

Krabsworth 10-15-2005 05:56 PM
I think it comes quite close to really damaging the song, personally. The song itself is great, but the solo always strikes me as being strangely out of place, and definitely not one of the band's best solos at all. :-\
I think the clavichord solo in,"In My Life", sounded really bad and out of place.

I like your choices for the favourites. I've never noticed that police car thing...that is odd. I'm listening to Highway 61 Revisited right now...I'm on Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues and I've yet to hear anything resembling a police car, and I don't recall hearing one on the rest of the album.

My cat is perched on my shoulder like a parrot right now! :D
