didn't even bother with their newest. alive or just breathing was the first heavier album ive ever heard though so i have a soft spot for it. aild was always on my **** list though.

KsE and AILD got me into metalcore but they're both pretty lol now.

I was heavy into Punk and Hardcore back in 04 then I heard PWDs album Don't Close Your Eyes so I guess thats where it changed for me. No ****ing surprises there. Converge was probably the next tbh I heard Black Cloud on an Epitaph comp called Punk-O-Rama, and it was love at first listen

As I Lay Dying - Frail Words Collapse, DEP - Miss Machine, Zao - Funeral of God, Converge - You Fail Me and Shia Hulud - Hearts Once Nourished with Hope and Compassion got me started in extreme music in general. Converge is the only one that stuck with me. I guess Shia Hulud's earlier stuff is still cool but after they reformed they went to ****. Zao is still alright but I don't really listen to them at all now either.
