Controversial topics are easier to write about I reckon.

Its harder to maintain a balance with controversial subjects, especially if you have a strong opinion.

Its sunny here, so i've been forsaking internets to go outside.

Lately been reading Murakami's Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, a friend recommended it. It's weird but it's great. Never read any Murakami before, but this is really original, the way he makes the most mundane things in life seem so surreal is astounding. Great author, fantastic book. Some of his one-liners are awesome.

Also, I just heard that after my latest pieces of coursework, I'll probably be getting an A in my English Lang/Lit and Ethics and Philosophy A levels. And I can safely say that that would not of happened without the help of this forum over the last year. So, yeh, thanks for that. I'm gunna try to actually write a proper piece soon, and crit pieces tonight/tomorrow.

Nah, shoulda made that clearer, I'm only in my AS year right now. But it's these grades you apply with right? I'm really not too sure where/what for uni, but I can't wait anyway.Even though it scares me that I don't have a clue. I'm thinking psychology/criminology/media studies/creative writing at Cardiff, maybe London, or Manchester.

And my short story c/wk was better than anything I've written on here. I actually liked it.

UCAS is possibly the stupidest thing in the world. Annoyed the hell out of me. Cardiff is a good uni, but I don't like the city. They offered me a place on a politics course there. I only lived twenty minutes away, and I wanted to get further away so I let it go. But I can reccommend Exeter, which is amazing. Not as good a uni as Cardiff, but the campus/town/course I'm on is much better.

I think I'll major in music after I'm done with engineering.

I had to right poetry in a creative literature essay concerning Nature and the Self and incorporate Romantic theoretical concepts similar to those who wrote poetry during the Romantic period.

So pretty much my poetry is heavily influenced by Wordsworth and Shelley, who in my opinion, were the best Romantic poets back in the 18/19th century.

It was pretty fun too and when i get it all marked and crap, I'll put it up to see what everyone thinks.
