123. I can't honestly say that I've ever drawn anything that remotely resembles what I was trying to draw. Maybe I'm not that bad, but I'm about as bad an artist as possible. I'm going to draw something on Paint.

I haven't really been tapping into my visual art side so much, but lately I have been inspried to paint this scene in Spain. I'll upload the picture when I get to it, but I think the painting will take forever

Nice avatar, m'bus

EDIT: The second one is the majority of my inspiration

Those are cool pictures.

Man, Leonard Bernstein. Amazing, or what?

This post had nothing to do with the Beatles. At all.

magicbus: Your drawings are really cool. I'm really into art, too. Your drawings remind me a lot of my dad. He would like most of your drawings, especially the first one on yellow paper.

John Lennon went to art school. Has anyone seen/read any of his books and art?

magicbus 10-20-2005 09:56 PM

I saw some of John's doodles in some of the Beatles notes we had from class, not like he real art though. And thanks too :thumb:

So I finished my MMT drawing. I probably could've done more with it, but I'm happy the way it turned out. I'll scan it tomorrow.

2 weeks from today and i see the holiest of holies.

dr._feelgood 10-21-2005 11:13 PM

I found my dad's old copy of Magical Mystery Tour in the basement yesterday. That is a great album. Those songs just fit so well together in that album.

Britton 10-21-2005 11:15 PM

I read a book about that. It was really cool

Seafroggys 10-21-2005 11:55 PM

MMT just kicks ass the more I listen to it. Definitally like more than Pepper's and Revolver.

DeusExMachina 10-22-2005 12:04 AM

MMT is one of my three favorite Beatles albums, with Rubber Soul and Abbey Road.

Britton 10-22-2005 12:07 AM

Abbey road is a awsome album

what's you're fav song off it?

DeusExMachina 10-22-2005 12:13 AM

Britton 10-22-2005 12:14 AM

HCTS is the best song to play for a girl

Strawberry Fields Forever and I Am the Walrus are great songs.

Off of Abbey Road, I really like I Want You(She's So Heavy.) I like bluesy rock, and I like Lennon, so obviously I love a combination of the two.

Seafroggys 10-22-2005 12:16 AM

Yeah. my top 3 is definitally Abbey Road, White ALbum, then MMT.

Favorite songs off of Abbey Road? Gee, lemme think here: Come Together, SOmething, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Oh Darling, Octupus' Garden, I Want You, Here Comes the SUn, Because, You Never Give Me Your Money, Sun King, Mean Mr Mustard, POlythene Pam, She Came in through the Bathroom Window, GOlden Slumbers, Carry that WEight, The End, Her Majesty....

Well, if I had to narrow it down a bit, I'll probably pick Oh Darling, Here Comes the Sun, and Polythene Pam as my favorites...oh, and I want you as well.

DeusExMachina 10-22-2005 12:20 AM

Abbey Road is just so perfect in general. I love it.

Sleepy time for your friendly neighborhood machine of the gods. Goodnight everyone.

Goodnight man

DeusExMachina 10-22-2005 08:37 AM

Ermm... bump.

GeorgeHarrison, you're going to see McCartney tonight, right? Let us know how it is!

robo2448 10-22-2005 09:05 AM

I listened to Abbey Road last night and I think it is just a perfect album. I actually tried to find some kind of fault with it and couldn't find a single one. I think my favorite song is Octupus's Garden, it's just such a happy song. Good solo too.

HazMan 10-22-2005 09:05 AM
