I've been hittin the pad a lot the last few days, really building up a soreness in my forearms, i miss that haha

TheBigMachine 12-18-2006 11:28 PM

I love it when your arm's hurt from drumming.

Sunshine 12-18-2006 11:29 PM

I wish there was someone around who could give massages.

My shoulder hurts, damnit.

TheBigMachine 12-18-2006 11:31 PM

I am pro at massages.

Sunshine 12-18-2006 11:34 PM

That's how I do my hand practices. I don't feel like I've done anything till I feel the burn.

Josiah 12-18-2006 11:52 PM

awesome

i've been workin with some wickd stuff lately, new ideas are so fun

double stroke roller 12-19-2006 12:08 AM

I'm always intrested in new Ideas! If nothing else gets the burn high speed flams do.

TheBigMachine 12-19-2006 12:12 AM

If you do anything enough you'll get 'the burn'.

double stroke roller 12-19-2006 12:17 AM

^ Very true flams just speed things up for me if I'm running out of practice time :)

TheBigMachine 12-19-2006 12:19 AM

OIC. Well that's fair enough then.

Corkofski 12-19-2006 12:24 AM

TheBigMachine 12-19-2006 12:25 AM

Panadol rapid

Sunshine 12-19-2006 12:30 AM

Back from Walmart.

The cashier weirded out 'cause it was like 00:02 when she rang me up.

But I'm legally 17, so she sold me some stuff and wished me a Happy Birthday and I was on my way.

Nobody even mentioned curfew.

And 2 of my friends [one from CO and my boyfriend, who is currently in Japan] called to wish a happy birthday.

I feel all special, but I have to be up for school in 5 hours so 'night Hold ^-^

Corkofski 12-19-2006 12:31 AM

happy birthday!!

TheBigMachine 12-19-2006 12:41 AM

Drum Phil 12-19-2006 07:04 AM

Why oh why am i listenin to +44?

ofDooM 12-19-2006 08:12 AM

I dislike my kit. The sizes, finish, heads, and hardware...

Retarded Chipple 12-19-2006 08:21 AM

Refinish your kit.....then get new heads and hardware. As for sizes, what do you dislike about them?

We_Love_Lime 12-19-2006 08:22 AM

I hate programming

The Ska Man 12-19-2006 08:42 AM

Happ Birthday, Sunshine!

We_Love_Lime 12-19-2006 08:45 AM

They should make that a song.

double stroke roller 12-19-2006 10:26 AM

Jeesh! I have a day off and people only want to talk about Travis Barker. Where is Pitchfork when you need him?

Retarded Chipple 12-19-2006 10:28 AM

Sup hold?

Check out my refinish job...I've just done it (the logos and bevel edge etc are still tapped up hehe.) The pics aren't great as they were taken on my phone. Although the pics don't show it, its really bought the grain out through the orangey red colour which also looks a little brighter. The bottom, darker end of the fade looks better too. Before it was near solid black but now the grain is visible in a deep rose colour *drools*
Will post more pics when its done.......hopefully those ones will show the finish in all its true beauty but for now:

Jezen 12-19-2006 10:31 AM

Tight refinish job, yo.

Remember that girl that used to post here? Char? She's the coolest.

Josiah 12-19-2006 10:44 AM

What the heck is sticking out of the shell on the right side?

Retarded Chipple 12-19-2006 10:47 AM
What the heck is sticking out of the shell on the right side?
  Thats part of the screw thing that holds the mounting system on the tom hehe

If you notice a few inches above it there is a hole where another screw thing goes

Josiah 12-19-2006 10:54 AM

Hmmm interesting, you painted that too though! Is it metal?

Retarded Chipple 12-19-2006 10:59 AM

Thats not paint in the picture, its spray lacquer! You can't see but the screw is taped up. The drum is Sonor 2005 full birch kit btw.

trysthedrummer 12-19-2006 11:03 AM

Same colour as the ketchup!

Josiah 12-19-2006 11:04 AM

Ooh ok.. pssst paint is a generic term for the application of any colorizing liquid or coating

Lookslike you got a fade going, or is that the lighting? What model sonors?

trysthedrummer 12-19-2006 11:05 AM

True, but when you think of paint usually a paint pot and brush comes to my mind

(below) same here but just refresh and it should come up

the_pure_drummer 12-19-2006 11:05 AM

I cant see the second pic. :(
