SantaDuJuan 06-30-2005 06:20 PM

You know what would be cool?
If we had a Rap forum.

Hm....

sketchyjoe 06-30-2005 06:21 PM

No.

SantaDuJuan 06-30-2005 06:26 PM

Fine.
Stupid white people.

Brain Toad 06-30-2005 06:27 PM

If we had a rap forum most of the threads would be "Rap sux lolz" "rap isn't music" "black people should for making crappy music"

You'll get used to the noise. The issue of noise will quickly resolve itself

metty16 06-30-2005 06:55 PM

I'm leaving for Boston on Vacation in a few hours for a 10 hour car ride...ugh

Anxious 06-30-2005 06:58 PM

thatd be fun.I'd burn 20 or so cds and listen to them all.

Biscuit_box 06-30-2005 07:01 PM
You'll get used to the noise. The issue of noise will quickly resolve itself
If you are saying that he doesn't need ear plugs then you are mistaken. Many drummers have ended up with a 'ringing' noise constantly hearing it due to not wearing ear plugs while playing.

metty16 06-30-2005 07:12 PM

I have been playing drums for a little over a year and I cope with the noise fine. The sound level sort of dies down after a while so that it doesn't seem as loud to you...just other people

Hmm... i would still be careful. You should get earplugs even if they don't sound loud to you anymore. Better to be safe than sorry

metty16 06-30-2005 07:18 PM

I like the natural feel of the sound, when you use earplugs it tweaks the noise and doesn't sound...pure. Still, better safe then sorry
That's called going deaf.
Are you not supposed to be playing poker drunk ?

metty16 06-30-2005 07:28 PM

It's called getting used to the noise

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 07:28 PM

Uh, yeah, I'm pretty sure you're going partially deaf.

metty16 06-30-2005 07:29 PM

I just am getting used to how loud it is and I'm coping with it

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 07:31 PM

My guitar still sounds as loud as it did the day I started playing. I think you are going deaf.

Biscuit_box 06-30-2005 07:36 PM
My guitar still sounds as loud as it did the day I started playing. I think you are going deaf.
Yeah, even now when i turn up my bass as loud as it can go it still makes me jump a bit. My room is really small and the walls shake too. Really freaky when i stick on the Ultrabass and the house starts to vibrate
