chic-fil-a must be the easiest food place to work at
there are like 3 things on that menu
well there was the number 5, and then there was the number 8 which was a number 5 with coleslaw **** but i wanted to slap every idiot that asked for a number 8 without coleslaw |
you know whats a nice feeling? having like 4 total friends and realizing they're all away/asleep, then going to your phone and realizing you have 4 contacts.
i should start sleeping at night and meeting people during the day. can i join this thread now? |
i have like ten contacts on my phone and i don't know who any of them are.
explain that one. |
call me alex
chic-fil-a
love fillin those chicks :) |
i have like 60 contacts wtf
|
I have a lot but probably wouldn't notice if 90 percent disappeared
|
I send stupid pictures to people whose numbers I have but I don't know or like.
|
i get a new phone every three or four months so it's hard for me to keep numbers
plus i dont like having contacts cuz dumb kids like to beat me up, steal my phone and text random people not even joking, have gone through entire relationships just cuz morons took my phone and texted girls asking them out |
im going to shower
think of my sexy body |
I have a lot of contacts in my phone, but a good chunk of them are just e-mail contacts.
heil Alan Moore's Swamp Thing
most elegant and genius re-imagining of a character I've seen
I just finished Volume 1 of his Saga of the Swamp Thing run. So, so good. He's just on another level. When I finished #21, the one in Sunderland's building, I actually said 'wow' out loud on the subway. So wonderfully written. I was going to buy Volume 2 but it's only paperback right now so I'm waiting for the hardcover release. |
it's so amazing though

the hardcovers were pretty bad quality when I saw them just fyi only read the first 2, I have a bad habit of trying to read like 7 different series in trades and never really advancing anywhere with them. Just the way he so elegantly flips the character seems like the most natural and intuitive thing in the world. |

And we can't be talking about the same hardcovers...Volume 1, the one I have, is outstanding quality. The cover, underneath the jacket, is textured and everything. oh god
last one i swear |
maybe not then. I saw one that had pretty lousy paper quality (well, it's vertigo) and the jacket was kinda sticky in texture which was lame
worst one yet gj jaundice |

Oh, well yeah, it's basically paperback paper and the jacket is the waxy kind which is stupid but I took the jacket off and the paper quality is fine. I'd obviously prefer glossy, but I paid $15 for it. |
thinking through the series I'm trying to catch up with somewhat:
Y: The Last Man Ex Machina Sandman Fables Swamp Thing Grant Morrison's run on New X-Men Scalped The Walking Dead probably missing a few too. damn expensive hobby. |

Meaning the 10th is free (that was a shitty initial explanation), so that rules. And it isn't one of those time-dependant, conditional things, either. It exists as long as the store does. While I wait for Swamp Thing Volume 2, I'll probably finish up the last few issues of Astonishing X-Men, then move onto Volume 2 of Hellblazer (I'm not sure if I'll go past Volume 2; 1 was good, but the narration was way too cheesy for me). And like you, I've got to get more into The Walking Dead. Have the first one, read it and loved it a few years ago, then just never got the rest. A buddy of mine is going to lend me Y: The Last Man when he finishes it. He tells me it's masterfully sexist. Can't wait. |
